Managed print service suppliers

I'm currently looking at our printing solution again here, as our estate has gone from about 10 printers to 26 in a few years, destroying the old idea of 'centralised printing'.

 

So, I'd like to have some recommendations for managed print solution providers - so I can get some ideas of costs.

 

Anyone got any recommendations?

I recommend Konica Minolta highly, I replaced the entire fleet with C35Ps and put Papercut in place in the backend, bought down the printing costs a lot and also made things more manageable.

 

I live about 5-10 miles from there support offices so my experience with maintenance has been second to none, pretty much always on site on the day of reporting the issue.

We ripped out 130 printers and replaced them with 15 MFDs Bizhub 223/228 /C280/C360)

Arena and papercut. I wouldn't choose anything other than papercut to do the accounting.

 

I've had good experiences with Toshiba, Konica mfds and xerox are okay. Might be better off if I had papercut and not pcounter.

Same here. Arena look after our fleet of ~100 printers (). Very good service. It's great not having to worry about repairing printers now. We're looking to use Arena for our photocopiers also and move to PaperCut MF.

Used to work with Ricoh who were brilliant - but it all depends on your rep.

I can highly recommend Sharp Business UK (previously they were called IOT - and a Ricoh reseller!) - drop me a line and I'll give you our account manager's details.

 

We have a a mixture of Ricoh MFD, Ricoh Copiers, Ricoh Printers, and Sharp MFD.

 

We use Equitrac for Follow-Me, Scan-to-Me, together with EveryonePrint for wireless, web/BYOD

it amazes me that no one has mentioned Lexmark

after 40 years with Ricoh, Canon, Sharp, Minolta, none of them come even close when you want a PRINT Solution

the world has moved on from centralising printers to MFD, although you would not think so with most suppliers still down that road, think de-centralisation + paper -cut

We have 24 months left on our danwood contract and at 18 months we will issue a formal invite to tender for the whole MAT.
