Stormborn15 Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 PRM for us - professional and efficient
danelliott87 Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 PRM are good but keep in mind that you need A LOT of 'qualifying' equipment to get free collection
fairm010 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 I use PRM, they say 30 items minimum for a free collection but they've done 20 odd for me before.
Techykev Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 I emailed PRM (our normal recyclers) to arrange a collection for a van load of old kit and they emailed back saying they had to charge us £40 plus VAT for collecting 2 CRT TV sets, so I tried LCWS instead who were happy to take the lot for free so booked them then and there. Told PRM that due to tight budgets I was obligated to find the best deal for the college and that this time around we would be using someone else, ten minutes later they replied as we were a "regular" and had such a large amount to collect that they would waive the fee this time. "Too late" said I. When will companies learn that schools and colleges need to scrimp and save every penny these days! 1
liamrobinson Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Have used https://greenbyteitdisposal.co.uk in the past under their old company, very efficient and we even got around £100 cashback, gonna arrange another collection soon! 1
forkies Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 SPC collect free, provide a detailed inventory and a report of data destruction/hard drive shredding.
Mjstone1 Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Have used https://greenbyteitdisposal.co.uk in the past under their old company, very efficient and we even got around £100 cashback, gonna arrange another collection soon! Thank you for mentioning these. I tried PRM Green technologies who I usually use but they couldn't collect some of my items this time around as some of it isn't general ICT waste as got some hoovers in there etc. Tried greenbytedisposal and they can collect more or less all of it!
techi Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Thanks guys. Decided to give http://www.greenbyteitdisposal.co.uk a try and they were excellent, gave us a bit of cashback too which was a bonus.
