L3OUGH Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Hi guys. Was wondering if any of you knew of any companies that will collect old kit without charging me?? In the Stourport, Kidderminster or Bewdly area? This is probably a long shot as I can't find any after a Google. And the fact the majority of people have probably never heard of where I'm based!! Maybe wrong though, who knows! It's not a massive collection of kit, a trolleys worth of old laptops (the trolley is staying though) and some old printers. Thank youuuu
L3OUGH Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 A search of edugeek and ye shall receive. Much appreciated.

Springbok Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 I've used PRM before - they're fairly quick and have a minimum requirement of kit before they collect

Jawloms Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 We have used PRM GreenTech with great success in the past. Very good. We are about to use SHP Limited for the first time. Anyone used them?
Techie-v2 Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 We have used PRM Green Tech a few times Really effeciant although sometimes have turned up with not enough vans for the load even though we told them how much there is, bur they came back again and took the rest. They have taken everything we've wanted for free and even given a few free mugs!
L3OUGH Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 Big thanks to @Millgate for sorting this out for me this morning! 1

jfairbairn Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 We use PRM Green Technologies (www.prmgreentech.com) We tried to have a containers worth of old equipment removed by other recyclers, but they refused to take what we had. I emailed [email protected] on 03/12/13 to enquire about PRMs services and received an email response in 5 minutes!!! The collection was arranged within 24hrs (the only delay was me estimating the number of items for recycling). A collection was offered for the next day but I could not take advantage, so as a result, the whole process took 4 days!!! Never have I worked with someone who is as efficient as Michelle the Bookings Manager, she made the whole process a pleasure. This is why I am more than happy to post here on Edugeek, to let everyone know.
fairm010 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 + 1 for PRM, used them once and will again hands down.
LincolnE Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 As everyone else said, we've had a pleasant experience from PRM. Gave them a call last Friday, they've come collected it today. Good service, friendly driver and a couple of free mugs!
Ianellis Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Hi, Does anyone know a company who send you a cage to fill and then collect it again? There was a company who rung me all the time offering the service - which at the time I didn't want. Now I want it they haven't rung me for ages! Thanks.
Springbok Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I don't know about cages, but we've started using Stone Computers - very quick and efficient service. I'd recommend them highly. Also their computers are excellent, with next day on site warranty and they offer managed services so a decent all round company. NB I do not work for Stone Computers, not receive any kickbacks...but if Stone are watching this post, I'll happily receive free gifts! 1
Wolfman Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 + for PRM Greentech, very professional compared to some of the other companies, everything gets a tag then gets loaded on the VAN, collection note gets emailed same day
rad Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 we use Tech Logic. Great company, one time we had the director come and collect who explained their process for recycling, knowing where it goes afterwards is good to know. We had Stone collect too but tend to use Techlogic. 1
