mdench Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 So its children in need day! Our school is dressing down for the occasion to raise money and the only thing i can say this morning is.. 1
fiza Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 We did onesies for Comic Relief. Today is just normal mufti day.
north-ict Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 PJ day here so mixture of onsies and PJ's I just paid the donation and stayed in normal clothes too bloody cold :|
Steve21 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 As normal we didn't even get informed it was non-uniform Support staff are all psychics! Steve 1
CAM Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 No kigus here today (that's their proper name!) but we are dressing down for Crisis and not CiN. I forgot about it again though so shirt and tie for me. >.<
X-13 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 PJ day here so mixture of onsies and PJ's I just paid the donation and stayed in normal clothes too bloody cold :| Same. They're now grabbing kids [someone mentioned staff too...] to take photos to stick on teh intarwebs... No kigus here today (that's their proper name!) Only if it's an animal.
localzuk Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Its a PJ day here today. Hardly any staff are actually in sleepwear though. I've got my Sith lord dressing gown on/with me (it won't be on long in my office, as its like wearing an oven).
Garacesh Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 (edited) Eeeyup. Onesies everywhere. Couple o' good fancy dress outfits, though. I've seen a Mario and Luigi pair, and an army of Minions. Thankfully not onesie variants. Also I'm looking at our graph for Internet usage right now, it's higher than it's been in months. I hazard a guess that that's at least 85% YouTube. I predict nothing will break today. At all. Edited November 15, 2013 by Garacesh

Garacesh Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Yes. Yes I do As for todays dress code, I'm just sat here in my own clothes. With a gauze-plaster-combo-thing on my arm to cover my tattoo. Usually I wear a bandage but I forgot today. Wonder how many times I'll get asked "What've you done to your arm?!".. I usually wear long-sleeved shirts so people tend to forget. 4 of the PE staff are dressed up as the Teenage Mutant Hero Ninja Turtles, though. That was rather amusing to see.

Garacesh Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 That bit was responding to the rest of the thread discussing what they were wearing today
Norphy Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Why do you need to cover your tattoo? Is it rude?
Garacesh Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 No, it's just part of the dress code. Edit: Turns out most of our traffic is BBC iPlayer, at over 6gigs so far. Coupled with 4 gigs of YouTube.
X-13 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 That bit was responding to the rest of the thread discussing what they were wearing today I was on about the tattoo thing. NSFW?
X-13 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Nyet. See above. I saw that after I posted. We don't do that here.
rickjames Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Don't think I've seen anything around school, nice normal day. For now. Ah.
Netman Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 No, it's just part of the dress code. Tell them Churchill had a tattoo and stick two fingers up
hardtailstar Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Non uniform day here, not seen anything unusual except myself.... Shorts and tshirt with bobble hat....
gmonks Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Lots of onesies here too. Saw one person in shorts!
SovietRussia Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Turns out most of our traffic is BBC iPlayer, at over 6gigs so far. Coupled with 4 gigs of YouTube. I finally blocked iPlayer yesterday, after months of trying to
Garacesh Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 'Months of trying to'? What stopped you being able to?
localzuk Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 My technician is in dressing gown, with shorts and t-shirt underneath. The knees! Oh god the knees!
SovietRussia Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 'Months of trying to'? What stopped you being able to? Squid was ignoring the blacklist, everything I tried was ignored - Installed squidGuard. Worked (Squid + squidGuard = Amazing)
