I'm only getting basic jobs. Nothing exciting yet. I've had forklifts but no cars.

 

I'm only level 4/5 atm

it gets better as you level up. I personally max out long distance first, offers the best paying jobs in the long run, but there are so many different things. ADR should be a last thing for most people with eco driving, but LDR+ECO driving = massive fuel savings (I am at 8% fuel saving so dont need to stop for fuel anywhere near as much as I did)

 

Should add my 8% is engine alone, when I factor in eco driving, will bump to around 43% when it maxes.

I think ive done Eco, Long distance and one of the hazards

Nice. Eco + Engine Economy = great fuel savings, maxed out it can hit around 50% economy!

Ok I have tried to hold my self back from commenting here but it seems to be such a well discussed topic, is this game amazing or something am I missing something here I thought it was just driving trucks which can't be that much fun surely!

Haven't even bothered with getting a loan off the bank or any of those hippdy dips.

Thats the best way forward, if you do 3 or 4 journeys a day, it will take maybe 2 weeks to get your own truck (and thus, your own profit), but with a bank, you are paying off for up to 150 days...which is a pain!

Do you have trucks for the drivers? They wont do anything if you don't have a truck for them...

I had 3 trucks for 3 drivers

Each had their pic and the truck behind

Started a job for the company.... I was the one driving for 4 game days

Have you raised their skills? Mine made me a loss until he levelled up enough for 1 point in long distance, 1 in fragile and 1 in high value. They then started to bring in around £2k profit per drive, but they are wreckless, so just standard cabs with economy engines to save on fuel costs.

Is there a used truck dealer?

no, but there are lots of smaller dealers, they have slightly better prices on base models, but more expensive upgrades...it works out the same overall
