Greetings, inhabitants of the EduGeekiverse.

 

I bring to you tidings of prizes, giveaways, freebies and sweeties from the good mothership VeryPC.

 

The name of this phenomenon is STOCKTOBER2! and it begins in 20 days. From 1st to 31st October 2013 we'll be giving away a prize a day to some of you lucky EduGeek people.

 

The competition is open to UK based IT/ICT technicians and managers for schools, colleges, universities, businesses, charities, public sector, government and other organisations.

 

Entries are now being taken - PM me your professional contact details and your fancy username will be added to the hat/bin/bucket/chassis/whatever we decide to collect your tickets in this time.

Revived by a future race of techno-archaeologists after the discovery of an ancient cache of surplus IT hardware in Sheffield, reborn computer makers VeryPC go renegade and dedicate themselves to regressing the 25th century's awesomely powerful but alarmingly evil IT back to the level of 2013 and freeing the enslaved population from the dominance of really dastardly gadgets by distributing their liberty inducing historical artefacts to only the most skilled (and lucky) emancipation warrior-geeks and also trying to eliminate the full stop from the language by writing really long sentences
