Bit of a random one....

 

I've come across an auction of equipment from a massive road building project. Why post here? Includes Meraki wireless points, CCTV, digital cameras, tablet charging cabinets (and that's on the first out of 35 pages).

Edit: unless you're after 8 pallets of assorted traffic cones, or 600mm diameter concrete pipe, it's the first few pages and last 4 pages that might be of interest. I could imagine your site team being interested in a shipping container or some barriers

Very tempted but I'm assuming if you win the items you have to go pick them up yourself? Its a 3 hour drive from me so dont think I could justify that unless I got a super good deal.

Check the T&C some will courier up at a cost as they want to reduce people on site due to Covid, don't forget auction premiums on top too.

Do those need any sort of licensing? Would be cool to have all the doors in the house access controlled! Could lock people out of the bathroom in the morning....

If anyone's actually interested in buying:

1 You need to register for an account and then get approval before you can bid

2 It looks like collection only, which is from the construction site, not the auctioneer's (between Cambridge and Huntingdon)

3 You need PPE to get on site (including hard hat, work boots and hi Viz trousers!)

Which is why you need the digger - wonder how far they can go on a tank of fuel

You get what you see, no chances all the electricals will work unless its been tested. Bidspotter is another site for things like this.

 

My mate buys lots all the time, sometimes he can flog on the stuff and other times he loses depending as the lots are now always as described especially when its a crate of what ever.

Well Paxton does do the Lite version, but for anyone near the area it might be a good way to pick up a load what looked like Net2 units and was only £10 starting.

 

If I was closer I might have thought about it since I've got all the PPE kit from working on the construction areas when we did building work recently at work.
