Hello, I have completed the SIMS summer upgrade and now when I click the narrow columns button on a Marksheet and then click the Save button, SIMS hangs. I have tried a couple of different Marksheets and got the same not saving issue. I've logged a call with our SIMS support but wondered if anyone else is experience this problem? Edit SIMS fails to save any changes. This is scary as staff are preparing for the new year with all teachers back in on Friday. Can anyone please advise? I've updated the logged call with our SIMS support but would appreciate any help. Thanks

Hello, Can anyone please help me with this? I have started to update last year's Y11 Individual Report and when I close the Word Template SIMS hangs and I have to end the task. My colleague gets the same error when she tries it on her PC. We both use Word 2016 and are on the Summer release. This crashing of SIMS occurs on any existing Individual Report we try and even if we create a new Individual Report, then open the Word Template and close it without making an edit. I checked Task Manager to see if Word was still open despite appearing to close normally and saw that it was not showing up as still running. I connected to our virtual SIMS Server via MSTC which has Word 2010. Opening any Individual Report's Word Template and closing it worked properly on the Server with Word 2010 but it would be impractical to carry out this work on the Server.

I'm having problem with my Windows Server 2003 x86 VM, in the middle of installing IIS server, What I did is that i insert the CD into the ESXi host and then from my VSphere client I point to use the host CD-ROM drive and it hangs, What I've done: 1. Force restart the VM and it stuck in 95% of restart process. 2. in the SSL console of ESXi: services.sh restart 3. re-register the VM from datastore view into the VCenter (with the same name VMWS05) and it hangs with Status "In Progress", after 20+ minutes it came with the following error: An error occurred while communicating with the remote host. and the VM is not registered in the VCenter still. 4. tried to kill the process like the following but still stuck ? ~ # ps -ef | grep vmws05 3854821 14064 Worker#0:Win2003x86_vmws05 /bin/vmx 14071 vmm0:Win2003x86_vmws05 ~ # kill -9 14071 ash: cannot kill pid 14071: No such process ~ # ps -ef | grep vmws05 3854821 14064 Worker#0:Win2003x86_vmws05 /bin/vmx 14071 vmm0:Win2003x86_vmws05 ~ # kill -9 14064 ash: cannot kill pid 14064: No such process ~ # kill -9 3854821 ash: cannot kill pid 3854821: No such process ~ # ps -ef | grep vmws05 3854821 14064 Worker#0:Win2003x86_vmws05 /bin/vmx 14071 vmm0:Win2003x86_vmws05 any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
