CSNM used them for both the school site and my personal sites... never had an once of trouble, even when asking questions in which they would be perfectly within their rights to say "sod off"

I had a cheap brother all in one at my old place... just plonk a pile of documents on top and it would scan each one as a PDF for you...

Yup but people have started to sucumb to bigger number syndrome...

Give it time... FavIcon's are very random if you have visited the site before...

Half the point of spam is it gets indexed by google... so i doubt they will put a robots.txt in there to hide the spam from search engines.

Oh and favicon.ico needs changing Make a 16px by 16px jpg and go to favicon.co.uk, then upload the file that gives you to "/templates/axe_rescheek_blue/" over writing the one that is already there Also keywords and meta description From the global settings inside admin Other than that it looks good, that yoo slideshow does look more at home there than the original slideshow...

Actually you will proberbly get away with just turning it off... Template.css around line 160 .roundedmodule1 { background-color:#FFFFFF; background-image:url(../images/roundedkiriatas.gif); background-position:left top; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #EEEEEE; width:950px; } Just remove the line border:1px solid #EEEEEE; I don't think you use the class for anything else on the site...

The border is coming from CSS, you need to assign the module a special class, and then use CSS assigned to that class to "border: none;"

Official Google Webmaster Central Blog: Is your site hacked? New Message Center notifications for hacking and abuse Google has introduced a service where they will email you if there bots detect any 'dodgy looking content'

I use CSNM, and can't fault it by far the best customer service... If you after something thats silly cheap and very nasty one.com for 3gb + unlimited other stuff @ £0

Or you could use ustream.tv and not waste any bandwidth, I did this for an art expo and it was succesful enough... Just get cam working on pc, register for service, use there flash interface and click record job and it will start... you can then embed the stream into whatever you want. It will even record it all for playing back.

I wasn't talking about the CMS, I was talking about the template...

I find it interesting how most of the web-designers, websites on here... are actually templates of someone else's. Maybe we get lazy when it's our own business on the line? *note this isn't ment to cause offence, I do it myself...

It will be a module look for rokslideshow in the modules list.... then look at it's position. Install Yoo and I imagine it will allow you to set it's position just like rokslideshow

You could be creative and use Google's CSE, and white list sites (and/or force google safe search).... Edit: think I might get creative and knock something up at the weekend...

My girlfriend got it, I didn't

i think the best thing to happen to the music industry is Spotify... -Don't want to pay, have adverts and a few less features (offline playlists, etc) -Want to pay, don't have adverts, have extra features... To quote the meerkat "simples", shame the film industry hasn't followed suite.

Facebook won't take down the group... If their are pictures of staff, they can ask for them to be removed. I would suggest a polite email to the owner in the hope that they will take it down.

i don't have any experience with any of them ^_^ but the last time I looked at a mac that was hanging it was because it thought something was in the cd drive.

I'm sorry but aving lived in the middle of nowhere.... I know what it can feel like to have poo internet.... but it's only a bother on things that need it videos/games... not for accessing a direct gov website or the nhs. So effectivly they want us to pay for someone to be able to watch their favorite video online... As for manufacture industries... when building the places these type of companies inhabit it's put into the equation, and dealt with by the company building the place.

You could use a RSS poster extension maybe? I'm sure there migth be something in the extention directory @ joomla.org.

I think you need to stop and take a step back... and think about the differences between a VLE and a website. Joomla will never be as good as a proper VLE.

Best advice I recieved when in a similar situation was... You can always ask at the interview under what parameters it will go temp-perm (or temp - no job). p.s personally if your happy with your current permenant position, I wouldn't risk it... unless the new job would offer you a chance to prove yourself in a significant way.

I beleive if you trademark something, then you *may* have a stake to claim the domain (if it wasn't taken already). However it's much easier just to buy them all... Google even goes the length of registering misspellings, such as googl.com

I do *think* tlds matter when looking at seo, I mean rarly see tlds other than .co.uk and .com. I'd assume google uses it to help work out what geolocation your site is aimed at. p.s as for myself I always type ".co.uk" when looking for uk specific sites..
