    Mirroring Apps

we have tried the splashtop but the ks1 child keeps taking over the screen (as you would) we were advised by the support teacher to get splashtop classroom as that stops the child taking over. this fails to connect the same pc the splashtop remote2 app conncts to flawlessly. I have even given the ipad and pc dedicate ips to bypas any filtering and authentication and still fails. PC firewall disabled will turn back on once ive got it all working properly.
  2. Hi All, Appologies if this has been posted before i have done a search and nothing has popped up. I am looking to find an app for apple and android to view windows 10 PC i dont want an app that controls the pc like VNC or teamviewer. We have a child that has visual difficulties and need to see what is being taught on the big screen to the ipad or Android tablet. I have tried already splashtop classroom and i can not get it to work in a home enviroment never mind a school network. We prefer free apps but will pay if there is no alternative. Thanks in advance

  5. This has helped me so thank you for that. in the password what password did you use (apple ID one or just a random one? could i leave it blank ?
  6. I cant coment on areohive but have a look at meraki.
  7. After a a lot of time trying to figure out my problem i managed to find out what was wrong. The remote registry was not enabled apparently in win7 is disabled by default. You how ever can remotely enable this as long as you are an administrator using the cmd "sc \\computername start remoteregistry start= auto"
  8. New download of Scratch contains .MSI http://cdn.scratch.mit.edu/scratchr2/static/sa/Scratch.exe
  9. Thanks this will save me a bit of time.
  10. Michael do you have a fix for setting home page ?
  11. If this is what you mean........ on the image below you will see the green lines and red lines if on your settings the lines are red it means it is not activated and will not apply the GPO. what you have to do is select the proxy and press F6 to turn it from red to green and it become activated. I had to do this on the proxy address and bypass proxy. gpupdate /force on server and client side and worked no problems.
  12. Anyone solved the bypass proxy server for local addresses issue?
  13. @Michael. Thank you very much saved me a lot off time.
  14. indeed. Most primary schools cannot afford new servers while 2008 r2 is working fine. for Microsoft to remove this policy is stupid or clever forcing to upgrade depending where you sit.
