  1. How about this for under £100:00 & has 4.5 out of 5 rating https://ao.com/product/mur4892ms-fridgemaster-fridge-silver-66005-30.aspx
  2. Best bet would be a cheap project box unless you are SURE that none of the cables are in use could be part of the Red Care alarm or anything to do with BT
  3. Have used NCS Technology for a number of years over all my schools and can't recommend them enough for price and professionalism.
  4. what bob said!!
  5. Another vote for Nest, had it installed with a new boiler about six months ago we have two thermostats one upstairs one down, I have it synced to my wife's phone so the system goes into Echo mode when she leaves the house. Have a look at there website I think the thermostats look better than the Hive and as far as I can see have a lot more functionality which my brother has.
  6. So had a day at BETT yesterday great to meet up with everyone from edugeek & thanks for the Hobnobs I was collapsing under the weight of all the pens thrust on me BUT now the big question is which supplier did you visit and who had the best freebies? Dell had wooden dinosaurs! there's the light up yoyo and BenQ had a Bar (although I forgot a flask) should have filled up some of Civica's travel mugs Have you been yet and what's your favourite freebie, you know it's the only reason you go
  7. What electricians do you use in school? normally find them very helpful and will come out for a small fee, got to be worth the ask especially if just a connection to the CU..
  8. I have eight of this model, randomly get this problem always found power down for 10min and change USB port and lead does the trick. They are all over 5 years old now so haven't done to bad
  9. If you use O365 you could Skype the lesson if you are a Google school then there is Hangouts otherwise FaceTime, you might have to tweak the filtering and setup accounts for the member of staff and the student but we have used Skype a few times now.
  10. I bank with Nationwide and get cover with the account think they use Greenflag
  11. So true Sonic you never know when you might be hungry and have no cash, I am always ready to help the cooks
  12. Hi all New to edugeek & wondered how many one man bands there are out there. I have looked after a number of schools on my own for 15 years now. It does get lonely sometimes but I carry a good Bluetooth speaker & find that if I am alone the legend who is Ken Bruce can always cheer me up in the morning then at lunch a wonder around the classes to ask the teachers if all is OK, you normally find a conversation. Remember everyone has there own problems and we are all just a number to the bean counters so a cheerful word goes a long way. Is it to early to say Merry Christmas to all
