So in the Admin Console I have Google Hangouts enabled for some (Year 10 & Year 11 students and Staff so far). Video calling is disabled for Students but enabled for Staff. Hangouts Chat is disabled for all. Is it because you have Hangouts Chat enabled?

I will take a look later and see if I can do some screenshots.

Not sure if you can do it natively but we have Salamander and they do it for us.

@Sohailahmad - Have you actually tested trying to create a hangout? I have just tried when logged in as a test student account and although I can search for others I cannot actually start a chat.

Is your test user in the correct OU where you have placed the restrictions?

If you have G Suite then Google Meet will allow you to record your session. You start the session without inviting anyone to join it, record it and then make it available online afterwards.

Just noticed that if I send an email and include a BCC receipient then the the person who is not the BCC recipient can see in the received email that I included a BCC recipient. I have never seen that before. Could someone please test their G Suite Gmail and let me know if it happens to you?

Anyone found a delay in the live stream? We did a test today and I was live streaming from one room and then during the live stream I left the room and went to where others were watching it and I could see myself still sat in front of the Chromebook that was live streaming. I then saw myself get up and leave the room on one Chromebook and then a couple of seconds later on the other. Very surreal!!!

Is anyone using Appshed and having issues getting hold of anyone in Support? We were due for renewal and paid the invoice but Appshed has not been reactivated for us and I have sent several emails to support and never get a response.

Does anyone know if SAGE will work via RDS? With talk of schools closing and staff working from home I am looking at making SAGE available from our RDS Server.

We have RDS CALs for FTE, does that mean we are covered for students too? Just need external connector? Any MS links to confirm this please?

I am also looking at Meet so would be interested in the answer. The other thing I noticed is that I can create a Meet as a Teacher (students can only join) but the student can kick me out of the meeting. How is this possible if I am the Presenter? Wouldn't want students messing around kicking other students out or even the teacher. Is there a setting to change this behaviour? Also just seen that students can invite others to join.

Why do you need the Teacher App when you also have Edulink? Don't they do the same thing? Edulink has an App for parents and teachers.

At our Primary School we were with SBB for 3 years and had nothing but problems which were blamed on Lightspeed. At the end of the 3 years we moved away from SBB at the same time they moved to Netsweeper. We moved to LGfL who also use Netsweeper. Not had a minute of downtime in the year we have been with LGfL. Just saying.....
