  1. I would try disabling the cached mailboxes first and see if that fixes the issue. We don't use roaming profiles at some of our sites and they have no issues with this.
  2. This article explains how to do what you want to do. https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95418?hl=en-GB
  3. There is always one that doesn't have any technology and expects a pigeon carrier with the info though.
  4. We are in today but generally they update their Twitter and Website then wait for the flood of calls from all the parents.
  5. I love how he puts the cover back on top, gotta make it look like he was never there.
  6. You need the default plugin setting GPO as well as the "Allow flash plugin on these sites". They work side by side.
  7. Image a machine with Windows 7 and see if you get the same results, if you do then I would suggest checking if the screen has a setting that lets you lock it, it likely the screen.
  8. I don't think you are liable then. They will have to give you clear answers and instructions on what they want otherwise they fail, not you.
  9. Snow day for my biggest school. I literally can't even get out of my street, just wheel spin in the middle of the hill I live on.
  10. So why hasn't it been up for 8 years? Must be faulty...
  11. Everyone seems to have better uptime than me, mine just don't last that long.
  12. I work for an external company providing support to many different schools, it seems to be either someone higher up in the school as taken on the GDRP role within their own role. HR ot Finance and they just tell us what they want to do. I don't think I've been to one that has their own staff member specifically for it but it could be something that is needed if you have a small team.
  13. The longest I have that I can think of is our wireless Cisco controller at 186 days. It's not too bad.
  14. Does it have a serial number on it? Also what is the other end of the cable?
  15. It's off and on here, has been all day. Next time it fully lays I'll provide a picture.
  16. I think both ways work, if you need proof that they are complient you're better off just asking the questions and getting responses. That way you are more thorough.
  17. Where do all the APs go back to? They must plug into somewhere, if they all go into the same switch you should be able to configure them that way.
  18. If they are all connected to the same switch you could access the switches interface and configure them that way. Even though it says they are down you should still be able to connect to them this way, or your way.
  19. You could try giving them statics to see if that solves your issue, WAPs like static IPs.
  20. Synology do fairly cheap small NAS and let you build them yourself on their customizer: https://www.synology.com/en-uk/support/nas_selector
  21. You should be okay with the bracket if it's universal one which most tend to be as they allow you to offset. As for the LCD short throw I am sure there will be some decent ones out there but I have never used them myself I wouldn't want to recommend.
  22. Adding a Gmail account via the default app is really straight forward. If their iPhone is up to date they need to: 1. Go to Settings 2. Account & Password 3. Add Account 4. Choose "Google" 5. Enter their details 6. It should now work.
  23. Off the top of my head you would need a short throw projector for that. So the second one should, I am not sure if it's an interactive projector though. I don't think they are. Short Throw or Ultra Short Throw should be fine.
  24. Strange. How are you applying the wallpapers?
  25. I think SCCM just reports in when it does, I don't think you can change that. You might be better off imaging all the machines that are going to Windows 10 then making a collection on those machines to deploy the software. You can then just add any other machines that you image to that collection and it will deploy that software to it.
