I suppose it could but it all seems messy to me and annoying when moving computers around instead of leaving the kettle leads in place, something about them I hate. Not had any internal PSU fail so far (or before the computer is decommissioned) I feel the same way about power bricks that I do about laptops that don't have USB-C Charging, the current cheaper Dell laptops don't have it so I won't even consider them.

One of the reasons I got the Dell AIOs was the kettle lead, not sure if its rational but i can't stand power bricks. Even had a Juniper SRX320 that our ISP supplied for 4g backup that came with a massive power brick for some reason and sometimes monitors catch me out.

Just to resurrect this I've found it is 5 Volt 2 Amp center positive 3.5mm x 1.35 mm (maybe 3.5mm x 1.40mm would also work)

I think the Smoothwall > Firewall> Firewall rules would be the option depending on how its set up, from my understanding you're bridging the VLANS in the Smoothwall with the restriction of one address object (the mixer) and maybe just https traffic, that way you can "allow" https or whatever traffic from one VLAN to an address object in another VLAN instead of routing it there on purpose, the live logging should help show if its working.

If the mixer is on Ethernet on VLAN 10 and the wireless laptop is on Wi-Fi on VLAN 20 and they can't see each other then that could cause it. Can you give the mixer a static IP and then create a route to it in Smoothwall
