Checked on hpe.com and still says 2105 for our lifetime warranty

Not sure but Set-MailboxCalendarConfiguration -WorkingHoursTimeZone ‘GMT Standard Time’ seemed to fix some issues for us with Word online being the wrong language. Might be unrelated though

Forgot to say we copy the config file over through GPO, never done an upgrade just clean installs so far Do you have to open the config file once with the new software and then save it and deploy it again.

Data retention and old backups
robintech replied to enjay's topic in Data Protection & Information Handling
not specific to OP but I was under the impression if you have the data and there wasn't an exemption then you have to provide it "Remember that you must also respond to subject access requests for any personal data you hold. This may be more difficult if you are holding old data for longer than you need." Principle (e): Storage limitation | ICO -
Is there a guide on upgrading we have the config file stored on a network share and a custom logo, will running the MSI upgrade or overwrite it and/or should we enable updates in the config? "Remember to back up your ExamWritePadSettings.json file before applying any upgrade/install, then afterwards run the settings file in the ConFigEditorGUI app to allow it to add in any new config options."

could try searching for an alias in exchangeonline , also weird one but if you have a long running SharePoint group they were maybe a member of (seems to work with any group actually) you can see the Group0 members which is useful for deleted accounts as they never leave the group0 list. *theschool* *allstaff* https://*theschool*.sharepoint.com/sites/*allstaff*/_layouts/15/people.aspx?MembershipGroupId=0

Issue with a single user access to Office.com HELP !
robintech replied to 2097's topic in Cloud Services
Does Entra say the "Authentication Details" is Password Hash Sync when it fails. Also any expired passwords as maybe that would cause weirdness as Entra might not be syncing expiry? Also a PowerShell comparison of a working vs non working account only highlighting differences sometimes helps find something. Fascinating problem though -
Edit: sorry didn't see you had already set AgeGroup, how long has it been? For K12 it doesn't work unless you set the AgeGroup to something other than Minor or $Null , ConsentProvidedForMinor only applies I think if you have them set to Minor and allows them to log in to Entra. Also it might take a few days to update. Elevating User Management with Age Group and Consent Provided Fields in Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Community Hub Also

Happens for all users in Web OneNote Sometimes works in Desktop OneNote ok but intermittent Gave all permissions possible in the browser, popups etc Tried on an off domain laptop on 4G connection and default browser settings and have the same issue Before half term is was working but not now, clicking hyperlinks sometimes works on first attempt , then only double click sometimes then only right click "open link" so seems to get worse YouTube Videos show a grey background instead of a preview or thumbnail with the message "uploading content in the background" which never completes

Shared iPad Devices - Protecting Credentials
robintech replied to Stephen_UK's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
If you can wipe and enroll them as shared iPads then you can set a Temporary Session Only option , guest mode is the only option and wipes everything after certain time idle and on logout. Or go full managed apple accounts for the shared iPad and sync it from your Microsoft AD , you can switch to that mode remotely without enrolling the iPads again. -

Konica Bizhub C301i should be 30 ppm colour so faster than the two Sharp ones, they haven't set it to thick paper or something? as that will slow it down to half speed.

I like that the exams office can set up all the exams in advance and then invigilators just have to choose it from a drop down , they can also edit them for last minute changes and smart boards can display it using in built browsers because its just a webpage with a shared login., makes it a lot easier as many invigilators aren't that good at tech. Might be worth building your own but £45 pa seems good value

does the browser Developer console show anything, or disabling QUIC make any difference -
Had the same issue, you have to use their drivers and I've got an old email with a link which still seems to work https://devicedrivers.blob.core.windows.net/geo/GeoBook2e-GE126-UK-2.zip Waiver that i'm just providing the link on a personal basis and this doesn't represent my employers and there is no implied safety or reliability associated with it.

0FC63DAF-8483-4772-8E79-3D69D8477DE4 says that's Linux Filesystem data? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GUID_Partition_Table You could change the type to a more normal Windows data partition with 'set id=ebd0a0a2-b9e5-4433-87c0-68b6b72699c7' but I don't know if it would be readable.

Never done it from cmd line, disk management should let you assign a letter to it / Change the drive letter or delete it https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/disk-management/change-a-drive-letter Does 'detail partition' show anything, for example a scratch disk in mine DISKPART> select partition 3 Partition 3 is now the selected partition. for diskpart, 'list partition' should show it, it looks like it doesn't have a drive letter so you can assign it one from diskmgmt or delete it and expand c:\ Edit: C : is apparently an emoji
