  1. This might be interesting to consider: Passwordless for Students - M365 Education | Microsoft Learn
  2. That's helpful. I've not seen those before. They're here along with others: Wireless Displays & Extenders – j5create Europe I'd be interested in any feedback from anyone that has used them.
  3. I've found this (biased) but useful comparison between a range of different wireless mirroring solutions Compare - Vivi
  4. Good questions. A headache I know but you could do a consolidated AUP for monitoring and other tools. As a start, reach out to Senso and ask how they deal with those concerns. I've worked with some of their team and they're friendly and knowledgeable and have been in this sector a long time.
  5. The "Attach" dropdown list only allows you to select files from other Teams. You'll need to "teamify" the SharePoint site. Here's one way form an end user perspective: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-a-microsoft-team-from-sharepoint-545973b6-c38f-426a-b2b6-16405a561628 There are some recommended guidance for organising and setting up shared teaching resources for use with Teams that should be considered. There are ways that I've seen schools do this, but there are "limitations" and better ways of doing this.
  6. If you're using Windows 10, explain to the users how to find the Rotation Lock option in the Action Center How to fix screen auto-rotation problems on Windows 10 | Windows Central
  7. Microsoft has the Learn platform with a dedicated Educator Center for self-paced training materials Educator Center Overview - Microsoft Learn Educator Center | Microsoft Learn Slideshows have some value but to have a great impact, I'd suggest running hands-on workshops with a "sandbox" Team/Site etc in your tenancy with the relevant policies etc. with learning activities for staff to working through the types of scenarios they will be required to do. Topic ideas include: What is Microsoft Teams? What is a Team? What are the different types of teams? What's the difference between SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive? When should I use which? What's the best place to save certain types of documents? Version History Recycle Bin What's the difference between chat, posts and announcements? When should I use which? How do I make sure staff are informed but not too many notifications? etc etc
  8. It might worth defining what's required for a "digital strategy". Is it only about systems, licensing and infrastructure or does it include how teachers will use technology for teaching, automation of school admin processes etc?
  9. Different I know, but also worth exploring. Adobe Express - free for education, cloud-based and SSO with Google and Microsoft. Adobe Express for Education
  10. I was really hungry this morning so I went to supermarket to buy a pie. It was the biggest pie I've ever seen, so I thought I would weigh it to see how heavy it was. But where could I find scales so big to weigh it? Then I heard, a song playing as I left the supermarket, and I knew, "Somewhere over the rainbow, weigh a pie..."
  11. Windows 10 or Windows 11? What Edition?
  12. There are a few places to start and much to say. This might a good place to begin: Manage your education devices with Microsoft 365 - Learn | Microsoft Docs If you're looking at Microsoft Surface Laptop SE devices that run Windows 11 SE mostly for Office and web apps, these videos might be a good start: Microsoft Surface Laptop SE: IT Administrator experience - YouTube Microsoft Surface Laptop SE | Student out-of-box experience - YouTube You can use Intune with Autopilot to manage any Windows devices (not just Surfaces) and can also manage iPads/iPhones, Macs and Android devices.
  13. My plan. My budget.
  14. "Working in IT is not stressing at all" Dave - 28 years old
  15. There are other ways to install Microsoft Store apps without allowing free reign of the store too. e.g. How To install apps on Windows 10 without Store — LazyAdmin
