We did a P2V using SCVMM and it worked perfectly, took a while but has been running excellent since. D

Attached are two IIS patches that can be run. I don't think this has anything to do with IIS but they may come in handy< they have fixed WSUS for me before. Also ive attached a helpsheet with common issues regarding WSUS. Common Problems.doc Patches.zip

Yes please post a few lines from the windowsupdate txt file and we can help you out further. I've spent many hours working on windows update WSUS issues I may be able to help you out. WSUS relies on many things to work so it could be anything at this point! Do all your other machiens update ok? D

I run a 750 24/7 and it runs fantastic, I have it maxed out constantly and with an arctic cooler freezer extreme rev2 it never goes over 38'c I was amazed at the temp when I first got it. D

I can agree with you both on this we have got better results running virtual also, to quote SSirruuk2 "it goes like a stabbed rat now". D

Storage space is a constant battle, our backup has grown 200GB in a few months. We have just installed a new Fujitsu Eternus to cope with demand. Hopefull this will keep us going a while! D

I'd plum for the HP gear, or if your feeling plush drop the cash on some Cisco kit.
