Ha Ha, but actually I reported it to Capita Support and am now watching the tumbleweed. Where is their response? My email along with dozens of others should not have been emailed out in clear sight. I expect this to have been reported to the Data Information Commisioner.

Thanks. They want to make DVD's. Yes you can compile a "movie" and write to DVD as in an MP4 but that isn't a good old DVD.

We're upgrading our Teacher Laptops to Windows 10 (Still prefer W7 but can't hold back the tide) just discovered there's no Movie Maker on 10? where's it gone and why? Anyone got an easy (free) alternative? We need to put Photos on DVD for Parents at end of year, they make DVD's which play almost universally and are not editable (GDPR). Microsoft have shot themselves in the foot, (again). Problem is what is the alternative?

I have a batch of new Windows 10 Laptops and have installed Office 2016 Pro but unlike Office 2013 I cannot get the Outlook to connect to our users' Office 365 Education email. It will happily connect to Microsoft Mail but can't find the 365 Education version. Edge connects Office 365 fine. Is there something I HAVE to do or have Big Blue ended the relationship between Office 2016 local and Online Email?

we're still using Windows 7. Got to look to the future but where can I find out where we're going go? Windows 10? What will Schools need to be using in 2017 and beyond. Who can tell me - all I see are moaners about win10?

Does any one else' School use 2Simple? If so how do you get it to install properly? I'm wasting timje time trying this n that but I can't seem to get the apps installed and the Launcher to see them. They're all greyed out. 2simple Web seems to have abandoned the "old" 2simple but we still use it. What is that shortcut to amend the path to the program from the icon? CTRL+ALT+F2 or something similar - I could be pressing keys forever! I have the 64bit fix - but it doesn't FIX. Doh!

My problem was the RDP session that it initiated, it errored "Remote App Disconnected" - "your computer can't connect to the remote computer because the Remote Desktop gateway server's certificate has expired or been revoked". Now since we are connecting to Capita's system I assumed this was not true. On investigation I found that this PC could not RDP to any of our internal servers the error this time was "An authentication error has occurred. The requested security package does not exist". Clearly a PC problem but what. After much digging I found the answer to be a missing registry key. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\Security Packages. Creating this as MultiString value and pasting in the values, kerberosmsv1_0 schannel wdigest tspkg pku2u livessp msoidssp Exactly like that, rebooting, and try again. Hey Presto. Anyone know what settings you need on a Windows 7 PC to access Hosted Sims? Its a web based application but why do Capita make it so difficult to find out what settings you need to make it work. When user logon and it starts downloading stuff and asking for passswords again they "Wibble"! Nothing on Capitas website to help.
