Although there is no official end of life date for Internet Explorer as of writing, Microsoft no longer support Internet Explorer for Teams and other websites have dropped support for Internet Explorer. I would strongly recommend moving people to Microsoft Edge (the new one) as Microsoft themselves recommend.

One of my schools is on Exa and using Mosyle. Didn't need to whitelist anything, but did need to add the HTTPS Interception Certificate to the devices.

That's the problem, you can't really force any of the Apps on, as they could be turned off after the fact under Privacy -> Location Services. After loading the Manager application and agreeing to allow it to track when using the App, you can then go to Privacy -> Location Services, and turn the Manager on there to Always. In the past using lost mode in the MDM I know the advice Brimstone has given has been sound though.

Out of interest, if you have an iOS device with iOS 14 on it don't you have it enrolled in DEP and set to join your MDM? With ours that we bought from Academia recently they were set to our DEP ID and transferred over. After unboxing and connecting to a WiFi connection the configuration was then handled by our MDM (the free version of Mosyle for Education) which installed the same old certificates we use.

From what I have been told this is just a SIM. A SIM capable device is needed to place the SIM into to get access to the Internet.

You see if you are unlucky you can be visited by the curse of Google, where it prompts up asking for you to agree to the T&Cs and won't accept yes for an answer and just spins round and around. The only way I have found to get around that is to go to one of the different country extensions such as google.de and accept the agreements. Of course if you don't save cookies or clear them to get rid of personal information this can happen each time you log in, which is fun.

Let me correct you there, there is no proof to support this as Microsoft Edge is based on the same base platform as Google Chrome, so if there was a difference in speed it would be negligible at worst. Again, let me correct you there, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome will display the same amount of images, the results are generated from search engines, not the browser. Ah, here we get to the matter at hand, even then though this is not entirely correct either, as we take you directly to the school website you still need to type google.co.uk to go to Google and click on the item you wish to use from the menu. Whilst this maybe your belief, there is no evidence to support this comment. By default we direct people to the school Intranet as this is a valuable resource for all staff and students. Google itself is one site out of billions and you just type google.co.uk in the address bar and there you are, you don't need to visit Bing at all if you don't want to. Not every wants to use Google as default, and even this can cause delays, for example on the website you need to read and agree to policies before use of the Google search engine, which sometimes cause an indefinite loop back effect and cuts into teaching and learning time as well as support time. Yeah, got the same issue at the Primary, so brought it up with our Deputy Head who used to be the IT Coord, he said he didn't believe DVD drives were needed for teacher use so I didn't buy any. So far we have 3 laptops without DVD, but that's going to increase soon. As a backup solution in case someone really needed to show an old Christmas film Educational Resource I was going to either convert the old DVD drives in the old laptops to be USB pluggable or just get external USB DVD drives.
