Wouldn't it be cheaper just to get that name for their BETT badges for Capita to scan?
-
It looks like a phishing attempt to me. I don't remember CapitaSoftware.com being one of their official sites.
-
Unfortunately I won't be able to visit you or enter the competition... fantastic prize, someone is going to really enjoy that.

*This is just 200 characters of text that can be used to hide comments from iSpy so people have to read the post if they are interested and not spoil anything for those just browsing. Text Completed.* They both travelled forward in time, were as 1903's guests just travelled cross country... and onto an alien ship.

Text Completed.* I don't get what was wrong with this episode... I mean the Pakleds needed to kidnap an Engineer because they weren't smart enough to repair and enhance their ship... and in the end the Enterprise crew used their wits to manage to save Geordi...

And now for unfortunate family reasons I won't be able to attend BETT. I hope everyone has a great time. -

As per the sticky thread in the forum, have you got a guide price or a ballpark figure? -
Might be worth stating roughly where you are in the UK and ballpark figures... as that is some pricey kit.

Where as someone that provides laptops instead of desktops, I am stunned by the amount of BER damage that is done to the laptops.

Is flicking through EduGeek during personal time work?
DJ-1701 replied to TJ-Diggers's topic in General Chat
It's can be used for both, just like all technology. There is a work side and social. It's like Discord, or Teams, or any other collaborative application. I consider it more work based though since we are helping each other out with problems, and when we do that we are also creating documentation or can use it to create some at least. -
BETT 2020: Who’s coming and on what day(s)? (poll)

Might be there Friday and/or Saturday, depending on factors. -
If you're not going to use them, couldn't you just fill the port with something like mouldable glue?

I’ve just visited this thread in the App http://www.edugeek.net/forums/bett-2020/212642-net-ctrl-bett-lockdown-integrated-access-control-wires-wireless-networking.html and clicked on the hyperlink. which instead of loading http://www.edugeek.net/forums/bett-2020/212424-net-ctrl-bett-2020-competition-lego-1989-batmobile.html which it does on the web version... it loads http://www.edugeek.net/forums/mis-systems/2020-sims-over-vpn.html Bit of an odd one.

I'm not giving up on it just yet, I did enjoy the first two episodes of this season so far, but episode 3... oh boy... preachy much? I have no issue with moral episodes, but when it's shoving it right in your face it's breaking the fourth wall in the worst way possible.

Pre BETT Show Competition with ICT Direct, Netsupport & Loxit
DJ-1701 replied to ICTDirect_Dave's topic in Windows
A few of us maybe still having fun with Windows 2008 or Windows 7 upgrades/replacements. Might pick up on Wednesday. I myself just haven't woken up from the new year yet. -
Praise be to programmers. Never had any notable issues on the 29th, but I knew it was a leap year, as calculations provide an integer when the year is dividable by 4 (and as it's not an integer when dividable by 100 I don't need to check it's integer when divisible by 400)... my birthday is near the end of this month so I am always interested anyway.
-
Useful alternative, but no free version. I wonder how good Windows Backup is these days.
-
Well they've already increased pricing this year... what I am worrying about is if they will be keeping the free version...
-
I blame the lack of fudge... Clues in the name isn't it Bass is for Basses (and Tenors)... not Sopranos and Altos! My voice has changed... not the bars.
-
Wait a moment... I thought that was the bass cleft stave? Nope, I am confusing the names while doing other things. I remember it as Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge... but I rarely get given any. ... Or remember the spaces which is FACE (which is easy to remember). I believe the trebleThe bass clef stave is GBDFA (Good Boys Deserve Fudge ALWAYS)... still no fudge here. Or ACEG (ACE Girl!) for the spaces. At least that's how I remember them.

Windows 2012 R2 to 2019 - 0xC1900101 - 0x20017
DJ-1701 replied to DJ-1701's topic in Windows Server 2019
I will add that this appears to happen with 2016 as well... and a fresh installation of 2019 works perfectly. -
What's the oldest bit of kit you still have running?

Great minds...
