  1. It turns out the product was disabled due to the way registrations work. It's been enabled so transfer orders should be fine now providing the TAG is changed to KRYSTAL however purchases show as being chargeable since we will need to process new orders manually. This should however make it easier for you to move .sch.uk domains over to Krystal but your best to contact support for new orders.
  2. Krystal doesn't officially offer them since they are quite niche in the grand scheme of what we offer but if anyone wants to register or transfer them as long as you sign up for an account your welcome to enquire so we can get the required product setup. You can also mention my name as well as it may be that I end up handling it!
  3. Yes we can, I work for Krystal so can answer any questions you may have! I know quite a few people do use Vidahost however for .sch.uk domains so to be honest just go for whichever you feel has the features and support you require.
  4. The first time I've had off in ages I literally couldn't face a competitive game lol
  5. Looks good, shame I rarely have time to play games these days
  6. Oh yeh i forgot about them! I must check them out actually
  7. It's been a while since i checked who supported then but I think Heart Internet did a few years back, I'm sure they must do now as well since I remember working there when we had some incoming transfers and we found it weird how we had to have the price set to £0. Other than that I'm not too sure, you could contact krystal or smart hosting to see if they offer the option at all since both use WHMCS and you can create sub accounts so multiple people can have access to the domain/domains etc.
  8. My personal experience with BT has been good, I've had two hub failures in total but the service itself is fine. From my understanding every area is different, most people in my area are on Virgin Media and as such the utilization on VM is terrible and my performance was bad so I switched to BT and although sure it's a lower DL speed at least I can actually play games and stream without issues. It's annoying they lock you down to a contract with no way out unless you pay cancellation fee's as personally i think it's all about trial and error to find the best provider in your area.
  9. I work in the industry currently and I've also run resellers in the past, if your going down this route make sure your as fully clued up as you can be since the amount of times someone starts up a reseller and contacts support for the company I work for asking 'how to I create an account' or 'how do i install wordpress' is crazy. VPS wise, I recommend looking into cloudlinux for the OS as it offers very nice security measures and then cPanel is recommended as well since most users are familiar with that. License costs can add up quickly but some things you just need to make sure you can offer an epic service. Also something like MagicSpam is useful for spam protection in cPanel. You may also find that a reseller is more suitable short term and then a VPS / Dedi is better later on but it depends on your budget. Feel free to PM me
  10. What you have got him is perfect to start out with, he can play games for the next few years without worrying about falling behind and always has the option to ask for new parts in the coming years. Personally I tend to aim to keep my PC's going for 5+ years if I can by upgrading something each year such as extra RAM, new gfx card etc. The first year after I would get him a nice keyboard and mouse, after that he may want some more grunt, so possibly an SSD and some more RAM and then after that possibly a new graphics card. That's my personal way forward for a PC when on a budget, keeps things ticking over nicely. Depending on his age, maybe a part time job or helping out the family for some extra pocket money for his upgrades
  11. I'd recommend using https://www.mail-tester.com/ as that should help flag any issues with the DNS and with blacklisting's. If your getting a 10/10 rating then at least you know your not missing anything on that side of things.

    Home NAS

Not yet unfortunately, ended up buying a new gfx card since my 770 wasn't able to run watchdogs 2 on more than low. Sorry I will be getting one before the end of January hopefully.
  13. The update seems to have logged me out but I still get notifications as though I was logged in. I expect it's probably because it was an update rather than a clean install but thought I would mention it just in the event it is a bug.
  14. Yep, still have it was going to hold onto it for a while before chucking it on eBay so just PM me any details.
  15. Hi All, I'm looking to sell a HP ProLiant SE326M1 DL180 G6 which has the following spec: 4x 72GB 15k SAS 4x 300GB 10k SAS 38GB RAM 2x E5520 2.26 GHz Processors This also comes with two power supplies, an extra network card and rails as well. Looking for £300 for the lot. This was originally purchased from IanT but it's now no longer required but has had a few upgrades with RAM and an extra processor since I purchased it from him Regards, Chris.

    Home NAS

I current have an old Lenovo iomega box I use for home storage however it's starting to mess up and give errors on the GUI. This keeps happening and I'm pretty sure it's the box itself since the data is fine it's just the GUI that keeps messing up so I'm looking to replace it. I already have 4 2TB drives in this server which I'll keep so I just need a new chassis but I have no idea what to look for these days for a home NAS. Ideally it needs to have a decent GUI and if possible have transmission torrent or something similar to handle torrents since on the occasion I do download anything it get's stored on the server. Any suggestions?
  18. This is why I hate playing solo on this game now: Seriously what kind of match making thinks that is a fair game? Guess what, we lost. I can't even play BF1 atm because apparently my 770 is the only graphics card with huge problems with the current nvidia drivers so it just crashes so im now bored PS. I suck at genji and was trying to learn that game.
  19. I miss stargate, I tend to watch Atlantis every now and again but it makes me sad they cancelled the film that would tie up a lot of loose ends. Don't suppose either of you read up the plot for that film? Looked like it would have been quite good
  20. Great, just what I wanted, adverts and I assume they will shorten the show to fit it within the hour.
  21. It looks like there may be a DNS issue with edugeek.net as only EduGeek.net - The I.T. Battlefield 5

It's good however I'm having some weird performance problems, seems to sit fine at 60fps however although the weather doesn't really affect my fps it seems to kill it afterwards and I was struggling to get above 30 fps at one point. Assuming it's caused because of a bug but frustrating when it plays fine until a weather event ends.
  23. That's a bummer, my other thought would be to possibly look into downgrading or installing another older version of php as it is possible to support multiple php versions. This would get around the missing module issue and there seems to be a few people who have tried this: apache2 - How can I downgrade from PHP 7 to PHP 5.6 on Ubuntu 16.04? - Ask Ubuntu May be worth looking into this type of solution in the short term and then possibly finding other methods to enrol classes later on down the line.
  24. I'm not sure if this any use to you however they look to have released a technical preview for MSSQL support with php 7 on ubuntu 16.04 here: https://github.com/Azure/msphpsql/releases/tag/v4.0.2-Linux Source: https://github.com/Azure/msphpsql/issues/81 (last post on the page) Unfortunately I've not used Moodle with MSSQL myself so sorry I can't be of any further help!
  25. Love it. Best game update 2016.
