  1. If your school allows it you could sell them on eBay? One listing and then just package and post as and when you get a sale.
  2. Just to add to this I have had this happen before, reinstalling Segoe font fixed the issue
  3. I'm 30 in 5 days Hoping for a diamond Tudor Classic.
  4. Hit me up in Feb if you want to ride with another Edugeeker! I'll warn you, I am top 100 global
  5. What platform will you be playing on @ICTDirect_Dave ?
  6. I was a big part of the riddle solving in Evo. I don't think there will be anything like there was in Evo because the studio RL is much bigger now and probably don't have the time and resources to do such a thing again. The "riddle" in Fusion and Frontier were nowhere near the level of detail that the Evo one was.
  7. I got the Trials news I was after... New game, Trials Rising not released till Feb 2019

Keen cycle tourist here. Having tens of thousands of miles underneath me I would recommend a touring bike as the best all round option. Koga Signatures are nice
  11. I disagree, of course any identifiable data would be redacted but the data, which I'm pretty sure a school would be obliged to provide under FOI, would suggest the school's employees or students are searching for porn when they are absolutely not?
  12. So if I made a FOI to asking how many times a school was blocked due to porn searches all the cucumber searches would be part of that data and would make a school look like it's making many searches for porn when it just not? Am I getting this wrong?
  13. I'm with Sigma here, the data is clearly not correct. How on God's Earth can a search for cucumber = porn...? It cannot! You do say the context can be seen in the logs but how do we know the viewer of the logs is seeing full context, if the data is aggregated context could easily be lost.
  14. I did'nt make the move to the new proxy until mid March so hopefully I've not been caught in that drag net!!!
  15. Sorry to hear that you're having issues too! My biggest gripe with the issues is how inconsistent they are!
  16. I had the same with Bing searches for "Twinkl" that were being blocked because the word "twink" is a descriptive word for a certain kind of gay man this filter is a mess! And I have rolled back the use of the idex client for now until GDPR issues are made clear. Only filtering based on machine IP now.
  17. I am only using the proxy and port at the moment, I have the client ready to deploy but I didn't want to complicate the installation anymore until the issues have been resolved. Would you suggest I use the idex client instead? The machine in the video is a domain machine using the proxy and port method. We are running Win7/Server2088R2 RM CC4. The SSL certs seem to be for the website, not the Smoothwall one. If I go to Twinkl and click the "i" it shows this: We just converted to academy in March 2018. I want to move away from any managed service at all but money...
  18. @Jawloms have you been having issues too? Certainly will need that contact, I'm sure the more complaints they get the more resources they can appropriate to fix!
  19. School's Choice in Suffolk have definitely moved from Protex to Smoothwall, perhaps they are yet to update their correspondents. I'm guessing the white listing configuration is on their end. I have made contact with them so hopefully I hear something soon.
  20. Thanks for the heads up, our Smoothwall is managed by School's Choice and I cannot see an option to whitelist, what I have done is add twinkl.co.uk to the "Everyone Allowed" list but still having the same issue
  21. Yeah I am leaning towards SSL inspection! I have already raised a case with our provider but they closed the ticket and said the problem was sorted. I'll get back in touch with them.
  22. Morning All, Recently our broadband provider switched from E2BN to Smoothwall and ever since I have been having browsing issues for particular websites. These issues are only affecting domain machines, my office PC and the staff laptops are not behaving this way. I would attempt to explain the issue but its so odd and inconsistent I made a video instead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csfX6zAkKMA The issue also appears to be affecting copy/paste of pictures from the web! Looking forward to hearing from you guys, anyone else had this? Thanks, TomHD
  23. My punishment is sort out my bag of network cables! Every kid that's ever been made to do it never plays up again!
  24. Afternoon All, We have been having a sort out of some old store rooms and 3 SMART ST230i interactive tables have come into my possession. I have them powering on and the basic/terrible software on there is neither engaging or good enough for 2018. Could anyone recommend what I could do with them to turn them into a usable resource? I was wondering if I could emulate Android and turn them into "big Android tablets"? Thanks, TomHD
