I have seen the wallpaper thing before, I am sure it was an old default profile. Your best bet is to delete and renew the default profile (even delete all profiles and start afresh).

Morning. I have come into my school this morning and have been made aware to the following: A few pc's are popping up with a 'MCI32.OCX' error. I have downloaded a replacement (for XP - the system we are using) and have put it in a shared area. All I need to find out now is what to put into the batch file to be able to replace the file and register it? (default folder for this file is C:\windows\system32) Cheers for any help.

For the i**** genre. Like Mafia Wars (I think, I have never played it). But this game is fantastic. Its free to download, but you can also pay moderate amounts to earn in-game perks. Something to pass the hours away when you are bored. Its an online based MMORPG. Give it a try :-)

Morning. I have been thinking (dangerous on a Monday morning) and I am wondering if there is anyway you can remote onto a user's pc without actually taking over the session? I would like to be able to make basic changes such as set power options, change screen saver settings and the like without interfering with their session. Would it be a case of updating a registery entry, or gaining access via the folders or such? (ie \\pcname\c$\whateverchangemade or am I thinking the impossible? If it was to happen, no doubt I would have to reboot the machine for the change to take place? This is what I am hoping to avoid. Cheers

Yeah, theres a very slight smell that seems to come through the central heating vents (more likely the engine bay) but it goes within a minute or two. I have not had the money this past month to do anything about it, as long as it ran, it was ok (in my eyes) but seeing as though it is payday, I should consider booking it in somewhere.

To be honest, it needs a service, but I don't have the time or money to do it yet, so was hoping that replacing the oil would get rid of the smell, haha. I know I need to get it seen to.

I got a 04 reg Nissan Almera petrol (great car) but I am unsure what engine oil it takes. Can any one point me in the right direction? I am no good when it comes to cars and engines, and I cant find th oil specs anywhere :-(

My apologies. On Promethean Planet. I find the style of content baffling. Lines and grids, horizontal lines for handwriting, squared grids for number sequences etc, but I am after a resource pack that have a number of different styles and sizes of each. Also there is a KS2 resource pack (subjects I think), I was looking for a KS1 pack along the same lines but with more KS1 relevant items in it. It probably doesn't exist.

Does anybody else find the downloads irrelevant and confusing, or is it just me? I am having no luck in finding a resource pack for grids and lines, nor am I getting a KS1 resource pack (like the subjects resorce pack for KS2). Does anyone have any direct links to anything like I am trying to describe? Cheers

I am sure you can stop the process via Group Policy, I have had the problem at a few of my schools, logged onto GP and edited, and have not had to re-register etc any more. Both Computer and User Configuration. Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Media Player Have a play about with the settings and you may be able to get what you want.

Since some software has been installed via GPO on a few of my networks, pc's are getting a few 'Programs have stopped responding' errors when logging off. I need to document these to pass on to the 'developer' of the installed software as proff that it is happening. But it doesn't always happen every time. Normally I would just do a print screen and paste in, but because the system is logging off, it will not keep the item on the clipboard so that I cannot paste it and save. Does anybody know of any magic software that I can download for free to grab these troublesome errors, or am I going to have to use my ninja skills and grab it using my phone's camera, if I am quick enough?
