  1. Yeah I do agree that gas is cheating a bit, and charcoal does add more flavour, but when you just fancy some burgers and hotdogs, and its a nice day, then why not? Its quick, easier, less messy et al. The first bbq picture actually had the flames underneath and lavarock under the main grill section, and that was nice, however the 2nd picture bbq is just flames and grill. I suppose I could try and put another shelf in for the lavarock and woodchips. I do miss that bit.
  2. Beginning of June started with this: I have now moved on to this: Just got myself a double sided cast iron griddle plate (plain one side and grooved the other). Going to experiment in making some Schwarma meat kebabs, got a great little recipe to try.

  4. The real question is: What does the Anykey actually do?
  5. David Read through this thread and take note of what various people have said, thus improving the customer experience. Don't forget, we are Techs and some are more inclined to nit-pick problems etc. Not to bash you, but to improve. Once the Techs are happy, then dish out to the customers, and then they should benefit from a better experience, and your status should grow. :-)
  6. Probably because he was referring to your post?
  7. With the weather being nice up in the North East, in the last week I have been spent a lot of my time in the back garden. To date I have: - Put privacy panels on the inside of the fence (300 boards - 900 nails - 6oz hammer - til' I asked the wife to get me a bigger one *Ouch*) - Painted all the fence, inside and out. - Dug borders along the fence - Attached a kickboard to the bottom of the fence (too keep it tidy and next doors weeds in their side) - One half of the garden - Watched a new patio be laid - Built my own wheelie bin cupboard and recycling box compartment (unfinished as weather took a turn for the worse and ran out of wood). - Filled all sides of patio and path with sand and pebbles This weekend will be spent: - Adding kickboards to the other half of the garden - Finishing the wheelie bin cupboard - Painting wheelie bin cupboard - Extending the borders slightly - Planting plants and Shrubs - Setting Garden furniture up and out - Drinking Beer - Catching sun rays My next project to be completed for the Half Term Holidays is to build a mobile bar for the back garden. Can't wait. Starting from 5pm tonight. Oh Happy Days.
  8. Following on from the thread with useful tips. Here's a trip down memory lane: The 19 Rules Of Playing Football When You're A Kid
  9. No one? A quick update: I was able to take a drive back to my office (XP machine). Plugged in and worked as it should. Computer Management > Device Manage > Driver > Driver details - This pointed to two files loaded in System32/drivers. Copied these to the school, used one machine as a test machine and replaced the 2 files (files were in the folder anyway). No luck, do I need to register these 2 files? FXUSBFILTER.sys and USBSTOR.sys When I look at the driver details in the school, it says none are available for this device.
  10. Lotus - Cinnamon caramelised coffee biscuits. Best thing ever.
  11. Predominatly the network is XP. I got given a few of these hard drives to reset the admin passwords on. So I hook them up to my Win7 laptop, load the software and reset the admin passwords, safely remove them and pass them back to the owners. After half-term, I get a message saying that everyone who has had the password change now cannot access their hard drives. I haven't reformatted these, merely used Iomega's own software to log in as an administrator and change the admin password. I log in as admin on the machines, connect the device up, and it hangs in device manage with a lovely exclaimation mark. Ok, remove and reinstall the drivers. So I do that. Near to the end of the reinstallation, I get a message prompt pop up and say to me: An Error occured during the installation of the device: The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for Windows 95 or later. Contact your Hardware vendor. Fantastic, it doesn't work. I change the install path to the commonly known folders where the USB files hide (i386 folder - have a copy on C:, windows system - windows system32 etc) Still get the same message. Plug them back into my Win7 laptop, all is hunky dory and working. Back into XP, dead as a dodo. I have even reinstalled the eGo Ecrypt Plus software back onto the machines. Can anyone shed any light on this, and offer a solution? (Please don't say upgrade all users to Win7, cannot be done). Iomega are rubbish, their FAO's just tell me to do what I have already done, forums are just moderators pointing to KB articles in their FAOs. Hard drives are out of warranty.
  12. This been drawn?
  13. Yeah stick me down :-)
  14. Work on iPhone 4s's? I will stick my name down :-)
  15. I don't know about Hotmail, but Microsoft were having a problem last night. I couldn't download Security Essentials, took me to the page and the link, but it couldn't find the MSI to download, on a new build too.
  16. Just seen this http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/2013/02/05/anger-as-middlesbrough-school-tells-parents-to-stop-children-speaking-teesside-84229-32748896/ :-) I couldn't agree more, the language you hear us lot spout is shocking at times.
  17. If I get dragged back into this and lose more years of my life, I am blaming you.
  18. Morning all. I am looking to be able to create a file that opens IE window at a certain URL, input the username, password and tick to confirm. Then to OK it and log in to the webpage. Dclick File on desktop - Website.ink >username autofills >password autofills >tick box auto ticks >OK is auto pressed = login successful to webpage - carry on. Or am I living in a dream world?
  19. Morning everyone. Just a quick question, as I have already emailed Espresso themselves about this. Our cachepilot died in a school and the school used the local Espresso content. A few phonecalls later and there is a temporary log in for staff and pupils to use to access the online version of Espresso. However the school is one for Behavioural and Learning Impaired students, and typing the full username and password out each time they want to access the system is really a no-no. Does anyone know if you are able to intergrate the username and password into the URL field of the shortcut? I know that Education City allow this, and it looks like this: http://www.educationcity.com/autologin.php?t=encrypteduserameandpassword Hopefully someone could help me as Espresso are taking their time and I leave the school at 12pm.
  20. Anyone got any xbox games they want rid of, I am looking to buy them cheaply, such as £1 a game (as I would eBay) but sick of waiting and paypal keeping hold of my money :-(
  21. Silent House is one that has made me jump very recently. I love these sort of films, but this made me uneasy. Event Horizon is my favourite film of all time.
  22. I don't play games anymore, found a life ;-) But what I did play was: Ultima Online (free shards and ran my own low-level shard) Swat3 Online WOW Warhammer COD4 COD-MW The old ones were the best, UO and Swat3 :-)
  23. Its included within the Service pack 2 I believe. A techer has asked me to check the IT suite to see if movie maker works correctly on all PC's. I have inherrited this school, and believe all workstations are at SP3 (XP environment). For ease of use, I would just like to redeploy the software rather than visit all machines. I have managed to extract the files from a MovieMaker20.exe file and now have all the relevant files needed to deploy. Thanks for your help and suggestions. Lets see if this works.
  24. Thats for Vista/Win7. I need the XP msi.
  25. I don't suppose anyone knows of a direct link to the XP version of Movie Maker do they? I have not come up trumps looking at any google searches :-(
