Am I the only one who thinks "meh, alright"? Looks like a bad reboot of a popular franchise like the more recent terrible Spiderman movies. If it ain't broke don't fix it Hollywood.

The Gamma wipe was expected but I don't think they've actually confirmed a release wipe yet, they didn't want there to be one but considering I already made about 20 million credits from a glitch and ticketed it, I think there will be! The executive producer is just saying "probably" when asked about it.

Maybe someone bought them for you off your wishlist!

If you clear save and try again it should appear in the same system as you, it was a bug I've been playing and ticketing some pretty hefty bugs.

I look forward to seeing it! I'll eventually look into building some sort of setup, once I get 3 screens.. Never tried using my head tracker on more than one screen before but I think it will be cool.

We have it, but only because SLT wanted to push it. Teachers don't really have an opinion of it to be honest, it's good but I think they'd rather not have to use it.

HUUUUUUGE patch, hundreds of bug fixes etc in 3.9. But.. still not much new content. I really hope they've got some tricks up their sleeves for tomorrow, because if they don't add any new content in Gamma - this game will not be popular on release.

Then they'd probably create 1000 blank text documents and complain they can't delete them.. kids these days.

You are correct in that #2 only refers to a possible expansion card fault. Have you taken the troubleshooting steps in the owners manual? that's all the support will tell you to do.

Yeah you should really at least wait until the 16th December. I can understand if you were one of the people who wanted a refund over broken promises in the kickstarter but you're literally complaining about a bug - while the game is still being developed. Doesn't really make sense.

The mechanics are arguably very similar, but it's still a fun game. It's just as open as FC3 if not more open, full of random events etc. The story is different but follows a similar arc, but stories can only get a game so far imo. Far Cry Blood Dragon had the exact same mechanics and a limited story but it was still awesome and my favourite FC game.

I wouldn't really care about the look or size of it, but they placed it in a pretty stupid place.. look at all the mud on either side, there's a footpath for a reason! I wouldn't want to get my shoes dirty..

It still has a place in my heart, honest! just after flying it in every beta for the last 6 months and noticing them downgrade it a little bit each time, you can't help but lose interest a tiny bit!

Viper is still my favourite ship so I'm not biased or anything, but the Cobra has larger default hull, larger default shield, more power and hardpoints (iirc) and the speed is around the same for both at default t1 thrusters with the Viper having slightly more maneuverability. If you upgrade the Viper's thrusters the increase to speed and maneuverability is a lot more substantial, in the previous betas the Viper really was amazing but now it's not quite as good.

Christmas? Get it away! It's not even December yet!!

Cobra Mk 3 is a beast, statistically much better than the Viper.. but any good Viper pilot can destroy any foe!

I'm not concerned that they pulled the 'actually offline' solo mode, but a LOT of people are angry because they promised it as a feature during the kickstarter - there was no "might", it was literally "we will have an offline solo mode". From the sounds of it, you'd only have to connect to the Internet in offline mode when you make transactions etc on the market which isn't very bad.. but people probably wanted to play it without needing a connection at all.

Well I guess some parts (not going to give any spoilers) but for example some scenes with Michael Cain where he was mumbling were hard to understand.. But not to the extent that I got annoyed by it

Mathletics is what the Maths teachers here have switched to this year, they've given a lot of positive feedback on it.

Dead easy to set up too if you've got a soldering iron and some very basic circuitry skills.

Watched Interstellar (4K, not 3D) - was a good 8/10 in my books.
