    When they say GDPR compliant, I think they mean there's no personal data, so consent wouldn't be an opt-in opt-out thing would it? Just like you can't opt-out of Windows 10 diagnostic data.

    Isn't Adobe Standard the paid-for version? If so, it's against forum rules to provide the installer, you should be able to get the installer from Adobe.

    Then you need to tell your landlord to get a better plumber to be honest. I'd be telling my landlord that I want a plumber in, and staying there until the issue is resolved, I might also drop in that you are thinking of finding somewhere else to rent once your contract is up because of these ongoing issues.

    Done this with VLC before as well, but it was only basic screen capture and restreaming, I'd be looking at OBS Studio for more complex scenarios with cameras, microphones etc.

    For standalone updates, I normally use http://download.wsusoffline.net to build a USB drive, not sure if it does the version updates though, I haven't checked tbh.

    Here's an option for the inevitable option C when it needs to be done for free. https://github.com/chall32/LDWin It's a little program that gathers LLDP data from the switch, so plug your laptop into the port, run this, and you get the switch name and port you're plugged in to.

    Disable time sync with the host, and set the DC to source the time from a reliable NTP pool such as ntp.org

    If they cut through the fibre how would you get the email? In these kind of estates, they are usually leasehold instead of freehold, so you don't actually own the land, the site are responsible for maintenance etc. and this would fall under that.
