There are a certain method of manufacturing sata connectors that's cheaper, but can lead to shorts as you've seen. These are most commonly seen on molex to sata adapters, and has lead to the phrase "molex to sata, lose all your data"

[ms office - 2019] Outlook Slow / Non Responsive
bald_pig replied to Andy2789's topic in Office Software
Run in cached mode, otherwise you'll have issues, Outlook hangs until it has a connection, meaning every time you minimize Outlook and Windows pauses the process, the connection drops and Outlook will then freeze until the connection is restored. There's probably a better solution but that's the easiest! -

I'm not using that system, but I'd guess you'd need to configure that in the routing section? -
People generally focus on skills and knowledge in an interview, I'm sure I'll be fine. On the plus side, at least you have somewhere to put your minecraft server if you decide to keep it on prem.

Should be useful for those of us who don't have room for a homelab, cheers!

I'll be up to my elbows in moving one of our buildings into temporary cabins unfortunately! -
It's weird that the SATA adapter doesn't work, unless the server locks out drives it doesn't "support"? I have a couple of adapters in my home machine and they're just fine
-
The card you listed is for NVME M.2 drives, not SATA.
-
M.2 is just the connector, you have SATA and NVME variants, and you can't just use a drive in either and expect it to work.

You aren't giving out a fingerprint, you're giving out an algorithmic representation of it based on whatever method the system uses. It's not like someone can come along and rebuild your fingerprint from the data stored in a database. Furthermore, fingerprints can be recovered from most surfaces quite trivially, and I doubt you are removing your fingerprints from every surface you have ever touched?

Are these ex-vat? Either way they're a bargain
