Thanks all. It's so frustrating. The surveyor has said he can't see any, but can't be sure. It's says we should get a report before exchange, but then says we should budget for any future cases. I have an appointment with the solicitor today, so will ask him. If it's the buyers responsibility, I think we will take the risk.

We are looking at purchasing a 1960's/70's house. We have just had our buyers report back, and one thing that sticks out is the possibility of 'wood worm'. The surveyor says he couldn't see any but due to the age of the property it could be a possibility of some. He couldn't check. It says we should budget for future treatment, but should get a timber report before exchange of contracts. Now this is the catch 22. We need to move quickly, as in this month. Do we raise this with the vendor, or just proceed and take the risk? A full building survey will cost around £1000 which we do not have. We really do not know what to do.

No because it's not part of the service. The SLA deals with mainly visits, and requests. When a school requests for new hardware, such as PC's/tablets/projectors we provide them with a quote and they then do the rest (as in ordering).

No we don't. We will provide the quote, but there is too much risk for us to do it. For the sake of a few hundred pounds, it's easier to get someone else to do it.

The point is, the black box doesn't take into account the road surroundings, the weather, other road users. Yes you can leave a 2 second gap, but sometimes that's not enough.

The black box is good in theory, but doesn't eliminate other stupid drivers on the road. For example, if a vehicle slams their brakes on in front of you for no apparent reason, you hit them, it's your fault despite being unable to do anything to avoid the accident.

Powerpoints. They wanted the screens for useful stuff and even news 24. I set them up a template with ticker, tv, clock, power point etc... It's not used at all like that. Such a waste of money.
