3DS vs Vita

It's well worth the £40 a year for what you get - even if you only have one of the formats. I've got a couple of PS3s and a Vita so I really get my money's worth. Not sure about the releases next month - I think I read somewhere that Bioshock Infinite was on PS3 for one of them, but I can't find the source.

3DS vs Vita

Do this - Guacamelee is an absolutely brilliant game full of 2D platforming goodness (and chickens... lots of chickens). Dragon's Crown is also great - it reminds me heavily of the days where I used to sit at my friend's house playing Golden Axe, but now theres skill trees and actual strategy further than "that enemys close to the pit - knock them into it!" The Vita is only now starting to gain it's stride with games - with titles like the aforementioned Dragon's Crown and Tearaway now out. Still - the Vita still strikes me as an accompanying device as well as a portable... With the whole remote play option. It does look like the library is going to blossom now though, with the number of titles that are being released on both PS3 & Vite - or even better, as crossbuy titles.
4. This. This all over... While I jokingly refer to any of my friends who are in teaching as being workshy - and that I'm there to fix their ups, it's all done in good nature. I know they work hard, and are dedicated to what they do - but this doesn't mean that ALL teachers are like that... I can, (as I'm sure many of us can) share some real horror stories of teachers refusing to learn, thinking they're better than you and just being downright bags - but as above, this doesn't extend to the whole of the profession. Yes, there are a large number of teachers out there that are used to their word being final - this is the part of them that is trying to instil some discipline in their classroom and it might leak out (or not be controlled properly) in other work situations, such as dealing with support staff. Try getting to know them a little, and they might start to see you as a person - rather than a bod to be ordered round. However - there are some absolute s out there who I'd happily punch in the mush. At the end of the day, there are a vast spectrum of people out there who have chosen teaching as a profession - right from the ones who make it a pleasure to see them teach, all the way down to the ones who wouldn't even get urinated on if they were aflame. Also - think about it, us techs can be just as bad... If in doubt - think of the first rule of Wheaton... Don't be a D!*k.
5. Yes, but you'll notice - only when it's a "Slide to open" window...
6. Just realised - I can vote even more with my support of multiple sites... So, chalk another up, you're now 213 ahead!
7. Just voted for you - will vote twice more later on, one on the phone and one on the home LT. I may also be able to nab wifey's phone for a sec.
8. What's it's capacity though? What are the options for a mammary upgrade?
9. Ogods - they got the funding...
10. I think @Sirbendy has this parenting gig nailed - I'm going to remember this for my future...
11. Also of note - If anyone doesn't have the correct cheese cutting knives, Aldi have an offer on those on the Sunday before (1st Dec)... noticed clicking on the other offer days.
12. Depends on what game it is - some games do allow cross format play within PSN as I've played against Vita players on my PS3. Not sure how many games allow this, but I did it on DOA5. Either way... korifugi = k-fugi
13. korifugi = k-fugi
14. Does this also mean it has to have RealPlayer installed? Edit: Apologies - this one's been done
15. Clicky I honestly don't know what's better - the original description, or the questions & answers...
16. You've not got an app or something that's trying to elevate access or something have you? Did you install anything extra just before this all started?
17. £30 a week? Crickey - I'm on a pre-pay meter and don't even use that in a month, for a two bed house. There's got to be something wrong there - either theres a leak of some kind, some 'enterprising soul' helping themselves to your supply or the supplier is taking you for a ride with an insane tarrif... As above - start the change process now, otherwise you'll be stuck with this meter, I'd also suggest ringing your supplier and reporting your current meter as faulty, as there's no way you should be paying that much - if they say it's fine, then enquire about your tarrif, ask why it is so high. Complain. Loudly. and don't let up.
18. Also - if you liked that, then buy / borrow / beg / steal* a PS3 and get Heavy Rain, a game that I can't believe some people still haven't played... *this post does not promote theft and is merely listed for the sake of completion
19. Farenheit - definitely farenheit Edit: Which was also known as Indigo Prophecy Edit MkII - bah! ninja'd
20. Wifey to be is planning ours (wedding that is, not bomb scare) - she's very wary of letting me plan anything to do with it... I get told things as she goes through them, and I keep my ears open just in case theres some kind of test. The only meaningful input that I've had so far is that I've refused to wear a white suit, stating that I'll look like the blummin' man from Del Monte.
21. The machine in question doesn't have some kind of card reader, does it? Or lots of USB ports that are trying to map to the same letters as your network drives?
22. Surfing a sack truck down the corridor - but that stopped quickly when I almost ran the head over.
23. I couldn't help but read the list above and think "for everything else - there's Mastercard"
24. It depends what he's into - for Retro goodness you can't go too far wrong with a PSP as the playstation store is chock full of older titles that are PSP compatible. However, if he wants anything to do with Pokemon - get a 3DS. The Vita is shiny, but it's effectively an updated PSP with full playstation community support, although it will last longer than the PSP.
