  1. It did - thanks I've done your trick a couple of times - log on, dump EVERY egg I have and log out chuckling.
  2. Balls - realised its using my PSN username: k-fugi
  3. Right - finally put my origin details in... Username: korifugi
  4. Oh - I was expecting something a little more fun than that
  5. On a different subject from snakes - has anyone grown triffids on the farm yet?
  6. Hmmm "Derby is crap"... yup, can't argue there.
  7. Not to mention falling off behind you (or to the side in the case of corners) and hitting other driver's windscreens - thus potentially causing accidents there...
  8. Also remember, when you've finished it - it's obligatory to stagger around the house stating loudly (in a slight slur) "where has all the rum gone?"... extra points for pirate wear.
  9. Coke (not cheap stuff though) makes it taste slightly of toffee...
  10. Interestingly enough - I have three sites using Capita's filtering and all of them are asking me and @TheCrust what is going on... The Fourth - which is getting their filtering via RM are having no such problems. So I have to ask - what are Capita actually playing at? There seems to be no issue with providing "what it says on the tin" with RM. Although - I haven't actually got an SLA for them either, so begs the question... Has ANYone got an SLA for ANY of the services, no matter who provided by - for ANYthing under the EMPSN umbrella?
  11. Hold on a sec... This bit... Sounds like they're saying this... Is anybody else reading that or is it just me?
  12. I ran a firmware update on my HTC and it boned the phone over. Contacted HTC and got it fixed under warranty - so I'd say yes, but that depends on the manufacturer of your phone.
  13. That's too close to Ninja Pirates - we can't have that. The whole of the internet would implode - just like if someone did a half caveman, half spaceman.
  14. Curses - you have just made me very hungry indeed... Happy Birthday!
  15. Read about this on el reg - It's not 4G capable. Why? - are they worried about keeping costs down?
  16. This needs more coverage - they need to get a celebrity or two on board. Just not Mr. T (as B. A. Baracas)
  17. Then later... lack of pancakes *shudders*
  18. Just voted for you - hope your group gets it!
  19. Shouldn't that be a woggle-snap? Sorry, couldn't resist
  20. I'm sure I have some kind of connection to it somehow - just don't ask me to go and get Kevin Bacon so he can explain... I'll vote.
  21. Sounds like you may be trying to give too much info - you only need a short summary. Most staff only care about "is my computer fixed?", and a short message of what happened and that its resolved is enough for them. If staff want more information then they can come and find me, but usually the summary is enough. I'm not saying never put detail though - if you need to use it then don't be worried, certainly when staff are used to being able to skim read the update, then a paragraph of info will have the required impact.
  22. Actually I already kinda do this. As I manage several sites (and getting them to use the helpdesk properly is a losing battle), I sum up a quick review of the days tasks and drop in any advice and comments. This is then emailed to the office, the head and the it co-ordinator. In some sites this is even explained to the staff during briefing, in others - put up for staff to read. You may want to reduce the size of the newsletter from 3 pages though. If it's over a page then staff aren't going to read it.
  23. Anyone? I've attempted to get something, anything from Capita but at the minute it seems like a game of "Laaa laaa laaa - we can't hear youuuu"
  24. To be honest - I looked, saw it's based in San Andreas and instantly thought 'meh' I didn't really get on with SA - I didn't like the main char, or finding that going off the beaten track meant everyone and his monkey started shooting at me. As for 4 - I was put off with that by the idea that you practically had to babysit your brother/cousin/whateverrelativehewas every five minutes by taking him for food. I liked Vice City, the cheesy soundtrack (99 Red Balloons people!) was brilliant, Tommy V was a great main character, and you could do things at your pace. Sure, the overall area was smaller than the later games - but it had the sandbox play style nailed.
  25. I do remember a colleague getting a stern word from a teacher as he set a password as "antirrhinum", explaining it was a Snapdragon.
