Laptops: Toshiba generally, not too shabby build quality on the Sat Pro R-50s that I've recently gotten for one site... Desktops: Often HP, but I've been very impressed with the Lenovo ThinkCentre M73s that were suggested by a supplier.

What other Skills do you offer your schools apart from IT related
korifugi replied to simonw's topic in General Chat
I have been asked that in the past - along with which child of the A-Team am I? Sadly - Health & Safety won't allow me to build anything with a Bulldozer blade and a Flamethrower... can't imagine why. -

I have a cutting wit and an almost infinite pit of sarcasm. Failing that - I have an ability to jury rig almost anything, to the point of fixing blinds with a bit of string and an RC helicopter with a felt-tip pen casing. -
Ooh - a Win8 BSOD, looks like it may not like something you're putting in there. Legacy mode will help - for some reason UEFI can do weird things with OS deployment. Also - if you're only trying to deploy one type of image (as in only x86), then it may be a good idea to ONLY inject the x86 drivers, I've had a machine in the past try to pick up x64 drivers for an x86 build. Le Edit: When it complained of no Network Drivers - did it give a PnP_ID?
-
I've had to go the USB route for a toshiba laptop, with x86 images - as the PnP_ID in the network driver didn't match what WinPE was after... It was a Realtek network card that I had issues with, what's the network card on the HPs?
-
Could you build them using the MDT image before? I've had a few instances with it where an extra driver added in has bogged the entire thing over.

Destiny Raids - I'm up for that. I've done a run through the VoG on normal, just reading up on Crota's so I can hopefully jump into that.

Yes, I had the full set from release, and apparently now Outbreak is very rare, with Quarantine also carrying a fair amount of rarity. Rare games are worth loads. I have original copies of Star Ocean: The Second Story and Grandia which are both worth quite a bit to the right person.

Personally - I'd leaf through the rulebook, exclaim "found it!", snap the rulebook closed and give them a swift smack around the back of the head with it, followed by "Spirit of the rules, sunshine!"

I remember being intrigued by a book my Mother had from the library - It was called Reaper Man. I decided to read it and was hooked instantly, the depth and cleverness of the world appealed to me, to the point of collecting the entire Discworld Series. Later, during my time at secondary school, my English teacher informed me he was in Dillon's bookstore, in Derby - doing a signing until about 5:00. After school I raced home, did my paperound and raided my stash of money - begging my parents to let me go and buy Masquerade and get it signed. I arrived to find a queue that went all the way around the shop, and almost into the Eagle Centre - joining it I found a kindred spirit with the array of people there, a shared love of Discworld. I didn't get to see Terry until about 7:30/8:00 - but it was obvious he loved the Disc as much as his fans, and that he loved his fans even more. Grasping for something to say, my eyes fell upon his opera hat... "Why do you always wear the hat?" I asked He looked up and lifted it slightly off his head and almost conspiratorially said "Because I'm going bald underneath". This was my encounter with the man - Quirky yet practical, with an almost childlike excitement behind his eyes.

I'm thinking it's the calculations on the right. -
Literally one of the best games I have ever played - I shouted full on at the game when was killed by the White Knight dude's archers. Just had to get all 108 stars of destiny after... The story for the Digital Devil Saga loops round on itself so well - superb writing there.
-
I've played some MegaTen games - and to be honest, I'm not surprised at the £65 tag. They do have a habit of getting a bit of a cult following. They certainly are... different. I've only experience of the Digital Devil Saga and the Devil Summoner lines though.

Sod that - roll it up to a neighbour's window in the middle of the night and wait for the screams.

I think the term "M8" is confusing someone... For clarity - "M8" is not the chavspeak version of "Mate", but instead the designation of that particular model. The standard HTC One is known as the "M7", whereas the bigger, shiny one is the "M8" Although, I do own one of those particular devices and they are rather spiffy, isn't it?
