CPU = The thinky bit, does hard sums RAM = The notey bit, a whiteboard for the day's lesson. Fan = The whirly bit, stops the thinky bit getting too hot. HDD = The writey bit, just like your exercise book. GPU = The looky bit, tells the screen what to show. Sound Card = The noisy bit, makes amusing sounds and plays music. PSU = The sparky bit, where power comes in. DO NOT TOUCH. Motherboard = The connecty bit, joins everything together.

Yes - Vault of Glass is accessible in the basic game, Dark Below adds the Crota's End raid and some extra missions, strikes and bounties House of Wolves adds more missions/strikes/bounties, Prison of Elders, Trials of Osiris, extra hub and 'marks'. Taken King also adds more missions/strikes/bounties and the new raid.

Yes - every Tuesday, at 10:00 over here - all raids, weekly heroics, 'earn x for a week caps', etc all reset. The nightfall and it's bonus for completion also reset - meaning if you're going to get the most out of a nightfall (bonus xp for completion), it's best to do it earlier into the Destiny week so you earn more from it. Events also generally start and end at the reset as well (except for Xur, the tentacle faced git that he is appears on Friday @ 10:00 and leaves on Sunday @ 10:00). Those of you looking to pick up the game new or if you have it without expansions - If you buy the Taken King disc, it comes with ALL expansions up to that point, meaning you'll have everything for cheaper. The only way to get Taken King by itself (if you have everything up to it already) is through the online store.

I'm up for helping (time allowing). I've already gone through the first 2 raids (Vault & Crota) so I've already got some experience there. I do have to agree though - getting a team together for raiding is frustrating at best. I think on the Crota run my team made, we ended up spending longer putting together a group than it did to actually do the damned raid. (the second raid is a lot shorter though). Luckily - you go through 'checkpoints' which save until reset on Tuesday and you can re-join at that point on another day.

After checking - it appears they're separate (contrary to what I thought), so the PS3 storage is still 1GB Checking the various forums last night - it appears that the community 'invite' process is very flaky, not sure if this is down to the sheer load being placed on it, or that it's simply bad. You can however, join a friend's community by viewing that friend's communities and going from there.

Not sure - I suspect so though, as your storage is linked to the account, and not the device. I'll fire my PS3 up later on when I get back as well to see if that's changed any. (and see if there's an update to the Vita)

With all this - I also realise I've missed something off... Storage: PSN Storage is now up to 10GB (from 1GB)

I'm surprised it took that long - give tools like that to your generic knuckle-dragger that only knows the games "COD" and "FEEFAAA"* and they'll use it to try and share pics. Doesn't stop those that actually want to be sensible with it though. *this is not to say all players of COD and Fifa are knuckledraggers - just using it as an example of the mentality of some players

@X-13 I feel the same way about most of it - not too bothered about streaming (as it's not something I currently do), but the 'communities' and 'PSN' sections have my interest. The events could be cool too.

Okay - now PSN 3.0 has been released (mine updated last night), there's a few changes to the PS4's interface. There's.... A dedicated PSN Plus section: Detailing what's currently free, current discounts, your psn plus library and account management. Events: Double xp in x game, online tournament in y. Streaming to Youtube: What it says on the tin Better 'screenshot' formats: Now able to save as .png "Stickers": For messaging Video Clips to Twitter: As it says. Favourites: For people you often play alongside / against so you can find them easier. and Communities: Online 'groups' to see who's online of a particular group - useful for gaming clans, groups of friends or 'looking for group' players. Now, this last one... Communities. Currently - there isn't an Edugeek one (that I've found) but I think it'll be a good idea (don't worry - you can be a member of multiple communities). I'm happy to set one up, unless one of the Mods wants to, rather than ending up with half a dozen different ones. I can go through the 'geek PSN threads and chuck out invites - but it won't be until I can get home tonight. Everyone up for this?

While the combat for this gets very samey - it's worth buying for the cutscenes alone (with some of the Cable ones being pure genius)

I barely know what day it is - let alone what time the kids change lesson, terms start / end etc.

I've played it - but I can only really take it in about half hour sessions before I start to get a bit bored with it. Some of the trick shots pulled by people though - crickey, they're like flippin' Ronaldo. Me? I'm more Ronald McDonald on it.
