  1. (For disclosure I work for NetSupport) NetSupport School works fine over a VPN
  2. @supportman - @mrbios has answered perfectly (thank you) - you can also use Google, Clever or ClassLink for SSO - if you are interested, complete this form and we can give you a competitive price. https://www.netsupportsoftware.com/quote/
  3. (disclosure I am from NetSupport)... Have a look at NetSupport's classroom.cloud solution
  4. Good morning @Garacesh, @BKGarry (and anyone this may concern), I can only apologise on behalf of $person, the daleks, HG Wells (The Time Machine), Doc Brown (Back to the Future) and anyone else that may or may not be referenced before I finish writing this post. If you are at BETT this year, last year or next year please come and say Hi, I will apologise in person and hand over some NetSupport merch to hopefully make up for our slip up. @Boredguy – if you would like me to send you the email so you don’t feel left out let me know 😊 @Oaktech – you should come to Bett, it’s a great event! On a serious note, sorry and @Garacesh thank you for your kind words regarding our software and our support (I will let them know) - we do try our best Looking forward to some more funny responses now😊 Matt (NetSupport)
  5. Hi @cadcae, Unfortunately this version is no longer available for evaluation as it has been superseded by newer versions - if you would like to try NetSupport School in Spanish I suggest you download from here: https://www.netsupportschool.com/download/ Matt
  6. @fiza we are still speccing out how this will be implemented (so now is a good time to provide your thoughts) - I would hope we will be able to block applications and also report and alert on them. email me your suggestions [email protected] Matt
  7. Hi @fiza @fillwox NetSupport DNA can do all of those things apart from title checks which is coming soon (not 4.70 which is imminent but the next release should contain this) - we can create alerts for dialog titles, and we can meter application and Internet usage using different means - @fillwox - perhaps worth a quick phone call to understand better what you are trying to achieve Matt (NetSupport)
  8. @foofighterjim currently NetSupport DNA can be configured to detect an existing login and either stop the user logging in again or log them out of their previous session but we don't have the ability to configure how many logins are allowed before it rejects the next. I have spoken to the development team who have looked at the code and committed to update this for the release after 4.70 (4.70 is due to be released next week so a bit late for that one). It would be good to have a bit more understanding as to how this should be implemented - for example we could stop the user logging in for a 3rd time but would you want the option to log out a previous session to allow the 3rd session (that gets a bit more complicated as which login would we logout). @TheGirlInIT - definitely speak to @Emma_NetSupport about upgrading to DNA (Emma will also be at Bett all week) @SamDavis - was it Ranger for Networks (no longer available)? Anyway, if your at Bett come and talk to me and give me a bit more information so we can get it right. We will definitely do something in the next release though. Matt
  9. Hi NorrtDown2, Come see me on the NetSupport Stand on Saturday (D130) I will be keeping some goodies back to ensure those dedicated enough to attend during their own time are not forgotten about (Drones permitting ). Matt
  10. Hi Colly72, Someone from our support team will be in touch shortly.. Matt
  11. Hi @ashleylewisms92, @Primus At NetSupport we have looked at how to provide a Notification Agent for iOS but the Operating system is fairly limiting, we would have to send a via Apple's Notification service which would then be displayed in the same standard format as other notifications on a device, there would be no simple way to get feedback that the recipient had acknowledge the message or to enforce it's longevity. We are still looking at ways to do this and if Apple provide some more flexible API's or if we come up with something we will look to implement this. With regards to Chrome, this is on the roadmap but we do not currently have a timescale. Matt
