You can prevent webdav by disabling the webclient service, worth doing as there are a few new security vulnerabilities with it anyway.

Really depends on what B does with the VLAN tags and whether it strips them out. If it doesn't it 'may' work, but unlikely, only one way to tell, set it up and see what happens ;-)

One other option, what about keeping the house and renting it out using a property management company, which will give you an income to cover the mortgage payments and you've still got the house as an asset and investment, plus if you decide to come back you've got somewhere that's your own still. You would need to change your mortgage to an expat mortagage though, which are slightly dearer.

Thanks for the ShareEnum suggestion, but it doesn't do what I need unfortunately, I need to find any security groups used on any subfolders or files in a share.

I'm looking at tidying up and consolidating our plethora of security groups in active directory. What I want to be able to do is scan our network shares to produce a list of security groups used and what folders they apply to. Anyone got any ideas how to do this?

I've had this before. Remove any trunks and VLANS on the switch, ESX and the 7110 for the link between the ESX and the 7110 and drop to one network cable on the link. Do a full power down of ESX, 7110 and the switch, bring the switch back up and then the servers and storage. Also check the time is in synch between the 7110 and ESX and that you have a route on the 7110 for the subnet you are using.

It should go past it, if the dialogue box is appearing it means there is an error. Double check the ImageName, ImageGroup and filename are correct.

We looked at MDT and also SCCM and tbh for us we found that once we'd got it working properly wds on it's own works best. App deployment through MDT didn't seem to work that well, we find Group Policy deployment works best or if it's an application that's a pain to install through msi we manually install into the base image.

Works fine for me, it's a Verisign certificate so should work fine. I would be very suspicious if she's getting a certificate error, could be some trojan on her PC redirecting to a fake website.

Yes, they have to be plugged in to use Cubase. Yes, that does help, what lan manager compatibility mode are you running on in CIFS? Got ours on 2 at the moment, with smb signing off and also turned off on the servers, just wondering if you've got it working with LM 5 and signing.

Update on Domain Joining with 2008 R2 servers: If you are decommissioning old DC's, demote them, switch them off and delete from AD. Also go thorugh every section in your DNS and make sure any reference to them has been removed, especially in the _msdcs sections. Also check through AD mmc consoles that they are not still in as an operation master or a global catalogue. Check using dcdiag that everything is working properly. Once this is done, go onto the S7000 web interface, in the Active Directory service select Join Workgroup to take the S7000 out of the domain. Delete the S7000 account in AD and restart the CIFS service on the S7000 and then rejoin the domain through the Active Directory service. Check that an account has been created in Active Directory. All should work fine now :-)

Don't you have something like a 30 day cancelation period? If it's still in that timeframe cancel the contract and go back to O2.
