Sorry, misread the post, it's the cable to the WAP you're talking about, read it as the LAN cable and wireless both active on the laptop, doh. Does anything appear in the event log on the WAP?

This may seem a daft question, but why would you want the LAN cable and the wireless network connected at the same time? If both are connecting to the main network, you have a loop, which will probably be blocked by spanning tree protocol on your switches if enabled or it could possibly be the O/S detecting this loop and disabling the wireless as it will be a lower priority network.

That's a permissions problem, we had the same. Capitas recommendation is to give the user local admin rights and it will go away, grrrr.

Go onto the Dell Support site, look up the model and under System Management in the driver list there is a WinPE driver pack which has the correct drivers for WinPE for all Dell machines. These are not the same as the drivers you download for the full operating system.

He will be working for a company researching and analysing data on employee welfare etc. He studied Psychology at uni and this is an area very close to what he did his final dissertation in, so he's really chuffed he got it. I think on final count, he had applied for getting on for 200 jobs, 3 he got through to telephone interviews/online testing and this was the first one he'd got through to final interview on. You're right Witch, it really is a tough environment for graduates at the moment, well anyone unemployed really and it can be soul destroying to say the least.

We had a query based distribution group in Exchange 2003 on which membership was based on if they were members of specific security groups. I need to set this up in Exchange 2010 and for the life of me can't figure out a way to do this. It needs to look for people who are members of 2 different security groups, so it's not an easy case of mail enabling a security group. I've looked at dynamic ditribution groups but cannot find a way to set up a custom filter based on security group membership.

Bupa are brilliant, if that is an option for you, take it. They will see you without a health plan, it's just a case of paying for the treatment as you go. I used them about 3 years ago for urgent treatment when the NHS put me on an 'urgent' waiting list which was 6-12 months, which the consultant told me it was very 50/50 is I would survive that long. Phoned Bupa, was told to get over straight away and they started treatment that afternoon.

Get all this down in writing, including details of what you're tried etc and what you expect them to do and why you are unhappy. Make an appointment to see a doctor again, but make sure you ask to see a practise partner as you are unhappy with how you are being treated and take your notes with you and show them to the doctor and explain your misgivings. If you don't get a proper response from that, contact your Primary Care Trust for the region and they will have a complaints procedure to go through.

Best rate I could find on that would give £3912.80 for $7000, so the rates not too bad. You'll probably find your Scottish bank won't accept payment in AUD or will find they'll rip you off even more on the exchange rate, so I don't think you've got much of an option.

Clean install all the way, I would never do an OS upgrade on a server unless I really had to, especially DC's. Don't flatten them all at the same time, for the DC's and DNS take one down, install OS, add AD and DNS roles and it will replicate off your existing AD and DNS. DHCP can be a bit of fun, if you haven't got a complicated setup then its easier just to start from scratch. Leave at least 24hrs before taking down your final DC to make sure everything has fully replicated across. MLS will move across ok, just make sure you're on the latest version first.

Works fine, had no problems with it and no overhead problems. Had a few 'where have all the folders gone!' moments from staff, but they soon got used to it.
