All modes start up the application which is causing the issue

Have a lenovo laptop where one of the lenovo applications is causing the laptop to instantly blue screen when you log in. Does the same in safe mode. Does anyone know a good boot disc I can boot from using a USB drive that will allow me to disable the application from the startup?

When we restart our Domain Controller that Exchange talks to exchange obviously cannot load anyones mailbox or OWA. Does anyone know if you can add a backup DC to the Exchange information so that it will failover and if so where is that information stored / added?

I am not changing from onboard to a dedicated CARD, just upgrading the actual card to a newer model.

We have a couple of G5's that we need to upgade the RAID card from an e200 to a P410. Currently the servers have four drives, two RAID 0's. If we put a new card in will we have to rebuild the array and reload the OS and data or would it be okay?

Really struggling with these, despite having it turned on at the BIOS and also set on the network card in Windows the NIC still completely powers down (No LED) when the PC is shut off and so will not be able to be woken by the packet. Has anyone managed to get this model or ideas from similar models to work?

Often go to a theatre in Cambridge called the Junction which is part of the "club" scene for new comedians to make a name for themselfs. Some good ones recently were Jimmy McGhee and Tom Deacon. Got tickets for McIntyre in 2012 but today bought some tickets to see Mickey Flanagan for November. Flanagan is hilarious much more so than McIntyre was when he first started so I am looking forward to that.

No matter how much you tell them that they cannot connect an ipad to a projector over wireless they still want one as its an ipad. They basicly want to justify having on in the classroom so they can put it in the handbag after school and use it at home all evening. And when you ask what educational apps they have found that would need to be proejcted the email trains stop. But one does what ones told.

Is there anyway currently using an application from the app store to project your ipad to the screen using wireless?

Trying to get rid of an old 2800 series router which has four ADSL cards in and I am trying to determine what type of cards they are. They are in HWIC slots but 'show diag' produces: WIC Slot1: DSL SAR (ADSL) Hardware Revision: 2.3 Part Number: 73-4771-09 What I am trying to determine is if these are WIC's or HWIC's installed... Nothing on the actual cards hints at such information

Using PaperCut and I would like to be able to use some of the information that is displayed onteh dashboard on our SharePoint intranet. HAs anyone acheived this or woudl know a way to do it? I know you need to log in to the dashboard so that may prove a stumbling block.

I am not that familiar with Ebay but I sold some items and put a delivery on each item at £10. One person bought all three items and wants to come pick up which is fine. But I already sent the invoice to pay through ebay, so he owes me £30 delivery but I cant seem to find a way to take this off now so he can pay only the price through PayPal. any tips?

Wii was cheap which was why it was a great success. I can see this being quite expensive, or certainly expensive to use at a party trying to get four of those controllers.

A friend loaned me his Canon SLR with a 55-200mm lens this evening and I took it around the local lakes. While the pictures are amazing the lens hardly got close to rabbits or cows 20 meters away. I would have to get a 300mm lens for it to be any good and I cannot afford that as any deals I found for body and lens were £650+. So it was a good excersise to prove that SLR is not the way to go and I ordered the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100 24x optical zoom. Should arrive Thursday.

USB keyboard and mouse work thats how I was able to try and delete the folder, so its something that happens when windows loads. Unfortuately its a sony so the drivers on website are basic and just say use "sony Care" which of course is no use at all.

The user information you populate in Active Directory is synced to their profiles in SharePoint. Phone number for example is searchable using SharePoint so our users just search for names and results show phone number, email address, manager, department and so on. Is this what you are looking at?

Same, no keyboard or touchpad

Have a sony vaio laptop running windows 7 but when the laptop starts up the keyboard is working fine and the LED for Num lock comes on, pressing caps lock causes that LED to come on. But when the laptop gets to the "Windows Starting" part of the log in the LEDs switch off and the keyboard and touchpad is unuseable. Anyone had similar problems? Have tried taking the battery out holding power for 10 seconds, running only on AC power. Restoring back to a previous time when it was working.
