I have never been sure about the accusations against Jackson, I can see why it could be true, various other famous people have done similar. At the same time it is very easy for people to accuse someone in the hopes of a payout and I'm sure we all know how easy it is for an accusation of that nature to go from nothing to being 'true'. Sadly I don't think we will every know for sure...

I don't think you can really just say he had a few good songs. He has influenced music for 30 years in form or another and while I'm not suicidal like some of the people on the BBC News videos I am quite sad that he is gone, I grew up on his music, Bad, Dangerous and Thriller are three of my favourite albums. It is probably a good thing that he has passed before the o2 shows and before anything else could have happened in his life. This way the live act that he was won't be potentially tarnished by new gigs that wouldn't have lived up to his history. Had he disappeared for the last 10/15 years I think the public reaction would be as it is now because he was an icon of the 60s, 70s and 80s. While some of you might not like him as a person or believe he is worthy of grief due to his death, I don't think you have the right to tell other people not to. You're welcome to your opinion but don't tell others they shouldn't have theirs. Edit: However I would agree with the no Diana type mourning stuff.....

I wouldn't expect a demo until about October and as far as I know they haven't released Betas for any of the main CoD games so don't hold your breath.

When you say the reporting needs a kickstart after FP2 upgrade, what exactly do you mean? We had one of your guys look at our database a while and he fixed a couple of issues but when I try and run reports, I get a nice load of nothing :S

Bit of an update, I have managed to get the driver installation to work (Thank something) except for the RealTek High Definition Audio driver. Does anyone have any experience in deployed an image with this driver?

Why won't it boot from an XP disc?

Anyone else had problems getting custom drivers to install? Any tips I've missed out on?

Managed 4 minutes on the three attempts at this so far. The Lighthouse is fairly useful but you're right about the tank.... Absolutely stuffed when he appears.

How about setting them to manual activation, restart the machine, set them back to automatic and restarting again?

So far running the RC has been pretty good. Had a couple of issues with WinDVD 9 not installing properly or running, but doing a compatibility option got it to play dvds properly. Powerdvd 9 doesn't seem to run full stop though. Playing Half Life 2 Episode 2 and Fallout 3 on W7 and they both run as well as they did on XP

That was the first thing I tried but it didn't make any difference. I might be able to do without the software, will have to give that a try. Did wonder if this was similar to the Adobe Reader/Acrobat 9 issue surrounding network shares. Thanks, will let you know how I get on

Just installed a Canoscan Lide 200 scanner to one of our PCs including the MP Navigator software. Whenever this particular user goes to run a scan she gets the error "Unknown error, Code = 259" I have search for this but not found anything, my initial guess is that the program is trying to access something in the shellfolders that, that user group is set to but can't. Just can't seem to find out what. Annoyly a more restricted user doesn't have the issue. Are there any known bugs?

I think if I played it solidly I'd get bored but I drop in and out with some friends of mine so keeps it fun. That and the hunt for achievements

HP L2475w is a good monitor though no speakers sadly, I normally play on an HP 2207w with HDMI and that is very good and has speakers!

When I was at school they ran a tournament for Street Fighter II and I can't for a minute think that they checked with the publishers. Do they have to do so with big Lan game meets?

It is actually an .ost file (which I am currently running the Repair program on). I have looked around at turning off Offline Outlook Files but the options that are meant to do it, won't allow me. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP052422641033.aspx The button it refers to 'Disable Offline Use' is greyed out.

One of our users has developed a problem with Office 2003 over the last few months. When he opens up the application a message is displayed that says: "Unable to display the folder. Another application closed unexpectedly while using your Personal Folders File "File location". To prevent potential damage to your personal folders file it will not be available until you close all applications currently using it" I did wonder if it was linked to iTunes as he had that installed but that has been uninstalled and the plugin disabled. Any ideas? Thanks

I hope jabbed the child in the eye repeatedly to help him/her to understand that doing repetitive things like that to a computer is bad!
