we do this but using vmware, so on vmware we have the 2 networks san network and curriculum network. they link to the vm and the vm's havce 2 nics one for iscsi traffice and the other curriculum. the server then can make use of the iscsi targets for storage. -

hello so whats the best way of having one image for different hardware specs? lwts say i am doing a image for mfl department and they have 3 or 4 different spec'd laptops. We use wds and mdt 2010 (for win 7 testing). i think Acronis Universal Restore will do the job but i think you have to buy licencing for ever device you want to image, which works out rather expensive. any suggestions?

Hi I am part way through upgrade to Exchange 2010, I have my exchange 2010 boxes running along side our current exchange 2007 boxes. How do you mirgate stuff like address lists and email address policies etc.... over to the new 2010 boxes? I can see them in 2010 management console. My plan is to take the exchange 2007 offline after i have moved all the mail boxes over. Mark

Morning at the momment we have 2008 servers and xp clients. I am looking at moving to windows 7. I know with 7 you need to create a policy store and edit the polices from a 7 workstation. When you move to a policy store what happens with all of the old xp gpo I have created? When you click settings on one of the xp templates not all settings show as the adm files are not in the policy store. Do I have to copy those adm as well or will the current xp gpo work as they are?

Path rule will do the job. If they installed live measanger then I know that install into a different folder than normal measanger put a path rule on both
-
Put in a hash rule or a path rule to the exe in software restrictions policy or put a nfts permission with the ad group with a deny all in a gpo
-
hi can you use the same wds server for xp and windows 7 deployment? or shall i used mdt for win 7? mark
