Hello Any run dance ejay on windows 7. Have a slight problem where the save and load menu doesn't work as a student user but as an admin its fine. Haven't got a clue where to start looking. I've tried running from local pc and network share and still same problem. Mark

so with ess then because you licence fte staff are covered but students are not because they dont have a user cal?

So I've put on enterprise cals for x amount of staff and thats it? Is this current bearing in mind it's from 2006?

hello if i want students to access exchange and sharepoint from home, what do i need to licence them for. external connector? student option core cals? Microsoft licencing does my head in mark

hello silly question, is it possible just to use the sky drive and the remote apps side of thing with Live@edu? we have our own exchange for all students and staff but like the sound of the skydrive and remote apps.

hello been trying to remove a message from all of our students mailboxes which one of the darlins sent out. where on sp1 2010 exchange but I cant seem to get the code to work and my heads hurting now with Power shell. We need to PDF printer. I don't understand why it default to that when the one I've installed using gpp have the tick saying make default

Yes it deploys and yes the printer works fine on the computer but it never gets set as default

Hi We use Gpp to deploy printers but no matter what I do the local adobe PDF is always set to default. I've ticked the box in Gpp for the printer i want to be the default but it doesn't seem to work. I've also got loop back set to merge too. Any ideas?

I use salamander AD here for creating users, setting up home dir, class based email groups, teachers who teach student email groups as i dont want to know about little Billy whos broken his leg. It also managers staff and student leavers and archive them off for us. creates mailboxes add users to groups we want adding too, manages the class based email groups so if there are changes on Sims AD gets updated too. I really cant prise the software up enough its always top of my what do i need to renew for next year list I give the business manager each year.

Hello got a strange problem here, we have a policy for each IT room which is using gpp to set printers for the OU. The black printer is set to default and the colour one isnt. as an admin when you login you get the black one as the default, but when a student logins they get the adobe pdf writer as there default but the black and colour printers as listed any ideas Mark

found the exe for it, just denied that from running using file permission in a gpo C:\Windows\System32\DevicePairingWizard.exe

Yeah that's what I want. Is there away of maybe telling the wizard to report back no devices like with the ad search. I know with the ad search you can use gpo and set max results to 0

Hello Does anyone know away of blocking the add device wizard without stopping access to the printers & Faxes. When staff click on add device it searches the network for network printers etc, I would like to stop this. Mark
