I'd would be amazed if you were using mutiple,strong passwords that are not following a pattern on more than 7 sites that you had to remember using your head - unless your name's DerrenB I have my internet banking passwords/security code that not even the wife knows. Then I have my gmail/facebook/twitter level password then I have all my forums like edugeek etc as the same one And then I use password for any I don't care about. Si

I'm experimenting using Android phones as "smart" cameras. At the moment I'm uploading to my tech dropbox account (Which runs on all my servers) but I want a separate service so I can still use my dropbox account on my servers but set up school phones to send to another service that offers the same functionality. (Actually it could just handle video and images) Anyway - I need something like dropbox but not dropbox e.g take picture - select share - select dropbox like service - aa few mins later, image has whizzed from phone up to cloud and back down to server. The fact that you requoted offensive material - you knew that some people found it offensive but YOU decided that regardless of this, you'd repost the material. Lets give an analogy Someone publishes a disturbing picture - somelse reprints it here and says i don't know what the fuss is about - can you not see it would be better to just link to it (with a warning) so that people who would be disturbed by it don't see it. Some of my schools are looking to use 2Simple's Purple Mash. Has anyone here been using it? (actually using it/seen it being used frequently by teachers in their schools - not just paying for it ) Does it work OK on XP and Win7? On netbooks? Class of 30 at a time? regards Simon

@synack and (this was the second server not the 1st one - and I'm talking server in a different school on a different lan!) I know the concept of clients auto-logging in with a username and no password is alien to 99.9999% of you but I've had 300 computers from win98 to win7 on 12 networks doing this for 10 years so that bit is tried and tested. I've got this one rogue Win7 netbook that won't do it on 2 separate networks either as a clone of a working machine (computer name changed after cloning) or even if I factory reset it to square one and then go through the initial setting up process. I wonder if the time is right but the day/month/year is completely out! I'll check tomorrow. Si

@cache - forgot to try your suggestion but tried the netbook on another network (same server name/password setup and it did the same. SO I decided to do a complete restore back to factory setup and went through normal setup procedure as if it was just a machine for home and then tried to connect to an open share on the server - exactly the same problem - asks for a password and even if I say use a different account credemtials- itws still says no - but still goes out onto Internet OK. Very very confused Si
