  1. @Anglisc Where to start I've gave up long ago with smartboards actually working properly (esp the 5xx series ones - although I have 3 6xx boards that are also NVG) They either work well/OK or not ok (won't hiold calibration for more than 10 milliseconds even on the 1000point setting!) There are seemingly 2 sorts of people in the world - the ones where the boards always work great everytime - and the rest of us Mr Smart has NEVER EVER admitted to any product defects and has proudly proclaimed- "Just contact your supplier" to resolve any issues. Since this generally involves us having to dismount/package up a 6ft device and send it away then it generally isn't a realistic option. I've don't rant on anymore about the UK firm that has the support contract on medical advice But come the revolution there is NO-ONE before them in the line! Si PS I did once follow someones advice the day before an Ofsted and used sticky parcel tape to pull the membrane off the back of the board and it certainly had a good placebo effect on the teacher but I'm not sure it actually did anything in reality but YMMV.

Comes with (estimated by weight ) 2 pl of ink in each supplied ink resevoir though! 15. Netbooks have the disadvanage of screen size and lower cpu power than laptops. They have the advantages of value for money and all day availability due to battery/cpu ratio. EVerthing else is the same - they are just as relaible/unreliable/prone to abuse/not prone as each other Its a simple trade-off Simon PS I'd personally class things like the 130e as something in between
  16. I know its a common system Just wandered why I couldn't import on one particular machine - its says the rptdef file isn't valid This was using same login as bursar normally uses on her machine Just wondered if it was a common/easy to fix issue When it happened, the sec on that machine said - oh - its always done that so I was just looking for a reason Si Si

  21. This is a political compromise The ^*(((&&& dolphin just gets in the way of things - more so on a netbook screen but they've enshrined it into their AUP and don't want to not have something to replace it with. Obviously in practice, if anything dodgy gets through the filters, the kids all call out to each other to say "come and look at this" Si
  22. @AngryTechnician - Superb :-) Si
