Axxis Cameras are definitely the cameras to have. At 300m though there are going to be times in Heavy rain, snow or fog that you won't see the gate from that distance. We have 2 CCTV towers in the car park, each with 3 cameras on. They connect back to the building over fibre. If you're going to do it, do it right.

What Version of office are you using? Are the files all .docx? Do you have any examples of .doc files doing the same or .xlsx files in excel for that matter. Are there any auto recover files in the folder? Also where are the files being saved to? Try saving them to local, mapped drives and cloud storage to see if it made a difference. Are there any auto recover files in the folder? Sounds like one of two things to me, it could be an auto recover problem where it's getting confused with which file it's saving. Or if it's all .docx file you might have something blocking xml. check your AV, firewall, filtering etc depending on where you are saving to.

If you run Citrix to a windows server you need CALs no matter what the client, iPad, Android, Windows, Mac... It makes no difference. Also need an MS Office licence too if that's one of the apps you are offering. So in summary I agree with localZuk, you will need a CAL.

Dhicks is right, I posted before checking the specs. It has a "Zoom Mic" built in but no support for an external one. Either zoom out and get up close and personal or use a different camera with support for a good microphone.

For a Speaker (person talking not a loudspeaker, although they might me) Also worth considering a radio lapel mic and plugging the receiver straight in to the camera. That's if you don't have a sound desk then you can just take an audio feed off that.

Hi, We have a different set up here, 2D design with a veralaser cutter. When you print/send a drawing to the cutter it drops into a "driver" which has a whole GUI of it's own and you can set quite a few settings in there. It's in the driver you define if the cutter cuts or engraves. You tell it how fast the laser travels and at what speed according to the colour of the line in the drawing. So you might set it that Red moves slowly at full power and that gives a cut. Blue moves faster at 60% engraves, Black moves Fast at 25% power etches. You get the idea. It also has a library of materials. with predefined settings to take the trial and error out of it. I don't know your laser cutter but the settings you are looking for are definitely in the driver and not in 2D Design.

Take a look at Smoothwall.org - it's open source. You may need a way to identify the devices, like setting up a separate SSID and giving it it's own DHCP scope.

We were with RM up until 2 Years ago when the LEA changed everyone to NGFL (BT lines) and it's been a total Nightmare since.... Never relied on safetyNet to be honest, had smartcache but that's long gone and Smoothwall installed now. By comparison RM were streets ahead of NGFL.

So if I am reading this correctly: Capita will effectively host your sims and give you terminal server access to it. This saves them from re-writing SIMS they can just use the software they already have. So, you won't need your server. What will this cost? A minimum of £990 per year (10 user minimum) plus £429 set up. All this is on top of what you are already paying capita for licencing and support. If you have 70 staff that use if for registers your looking at around an extra £7000/year. Integris and Arbour will cost a lot less than just hosting SIMS, let alone licencing it.

Sounds like a faulty projector to me. Even with clogged filters or if the unit was covered in a pile of paper, the thermal cut out should have powered it off long before it reached ignition temp. Art student use projectors to create large pieces of work. It's quiet possible this wasn't ceiling mounted.

Staff only, even then only safe mode with ads and comments removed via smoothwall. Students have access to youtube for schools.

How about setting up an environment they RDP on to to take the test? Special permissions on the work folder so they can write only. They can't open, delete or modify any saved work, even their own. You could set a distinct colour scheme so its easy to see if they dropped back to the desk top.
