We use a Linux SSH tunnel then I can route RDP to my PC directly. Even if our proxy goes down we can still get into the network to diagnose issues.

Hi, In the config file that is in the same folder as the EXE file. The config files stores all the defaults or your own custom settings if so requires. The PDF documentation that comes with every version of ExamWritePad will describe to you all the config file settings that you can change.

Flexibility :-)

Hi, With regards #1 you either use a UNC network path or if the users documents is a mapped drive use the drive letter i.e H:\ #2 Im pretty sure even limited users need access to the ProgramData folder but if it becomes an issue then by all means point it to the users appdata folder. The world is your oyster when it comes to which paths to use :-)

I think a call to HP support will give you your answer [emoji1]

On most new PCs these days they are locked to the installed OS. To wipe it and re-install something else you have to disable "secure boot", this unlocks the BIOS to allow other OSes to be installed. We had to do it for our HP 280 G2 models, this should also allow in turn legacy support boot options. If you have disabled secure boot successfully you should be asked to enter in a code upon reboot to confirm. Also disable "fast boot" as well Just in case.

Any chance you can send me your config beforehand? I'm free around 12-1

For PHP/HTML,CSS and JavaScript I use Brackets (http://www.brackets.io), for sites developed in VB asp.net then Visual Studio Community Edition. To test your PHP and MySQL database skills locally on your PC, install XAMPP.

Hi, Can you send me your exam writepad config file so I can see if you have it correct. I don't offer phone support but I could do a remote team viewer session if allowed on your network, if that helps.

If you get any errors at runtime it is likely to be down to the save/auto save paths in the config. Just make sure they are available and writeable...

[1703, cu] Successfully deploying Start Menus in Windows 10 v1703
ass17 replied to sparkeh's topic in Windows 10
If you have removed it from the WIM file, then I assume it is not possible, otherwise powershell using the "Get-AppxPackage -allusers | Select Name, {PackageFullName}" command then tun command "Add-AppxPackage -register "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\{PackageCodeName}\appxmanifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode" {PackageCodeName} being what ever Media player is..... -
I use unifi at home LR in the attic and Lite living room. I also have a guest network but both run on separate vlan networks. My advice is never mesh unless it is the last resort, main reason is the lower bandwidth.

We assign Edu Plus as they get all the bells and whistles, if they need it :-)

Year of Entry or Year group naming for OU
ass17 replied to Shadow_Walker's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
We have a senior and junior school so we use year of entry into year 7. So for example our current year 6 is prefixed 17, so that when they become year 7 in September the YOE will match up 17 = 2017. Here is our full list: Reception = 24 Year 1 = 23 Year 2 = 22 Year 3 = 21 Year 4 = 20 Year 5 = 19 Year 6 = 18 Year 7 = 17 Year 8 = 16 Year 9 = 15 Year 10 = 14 Year 11 = 13 Year 12 = 12 Year 13 = 11 -
We're using AMS (Asset Management Database) you won't find it on the internet as I wrote it in house. Using asp.net and SQL DB. [emoji1303][emoji1]

Assuming the cat 6 will connect to a switch/home hub/home router etc.... then most Ethernet cables you use to connect your devices to the face plates will be T568B wiring standards so your leads will need to follow the same standard. Then cable test the installation to make sure the IDs are correct
