  1. The simplest way to achieve this would be with a cron-called script. On Debian/Ubuntu systems: set -e invoke-rc.d apache2 stop invoke-rc.d mysqld stop invoke-rc.d mysqld start invoke-rc.d apache2 stop

  14. Centre only.
  15. a) the certificate has been revoked b) the revocation list is unavailable c) the revocation list can't be fetched through your filter or d) some other problem.
  16. Disabling it is a bad idea. When a certificate is published, the certificate authority has no further control over it until it expires. So if the certificate is used for Bad Things™, it can give the user a sense of trust without any justification. So instead, authorities embed a link to a revocation (from the verb to revoke) list in the certificate, and the browser checks this before allowing the connection. If the certificate has been revoked, an error is displayed. Disabling the check disables this protection.
  17. How many Desires do you know that run Windows 7? HTC - Products - HTC Desire - Overview
  18. @elsiegee40: We'd like to distribute this to staff, but it's important you get the credit - could you add a copyright statement (after all, the rights are yours) and a license to reproduce? I suggest a creative commons license: CC Atribution Share-alike, which guarantees you stay attributed but lets others adapt it to suit them or when the screenshots need changing. *suggested text: © Copyright 2010. 22. There is no requirement to test anything; testing is a means to an end, which is the legal requirement: you (the employer) must take reasonable and appropriate measures to ensure that equipment is well-maintained and safe for use within the parameters for which it is designed.
  23. Stefano Zacchiroli, Debian Project Leader writes: If you'd like to enter the contest but aren't a Debian user or contributor, that's no problem. Give me a shout if you have any questions.
