I have no ipads in school, I've asked that if ipads are purchased they must include management. I assume an MDM is required, what is cost affective for 12 ipads, lock down settings and apps (etc)

Been told that sql 2014 support is ending and SIMS tell me that I have to update.. What is unusual is that they've not thrown any instructions at me but just quoted £500 to do it for me... Anyone know where the upgrade docs are before I go hunting? can I do an in place upgrade? been a looong time.

I just bought 32 Lenovo Thinkpad's (very nice) but I didn't have anything to trade in, I thought.... I was only looking at the schools curriculum or staff devices.. I'd forgotten the dozens of useless DFE laptops with dead batteries, I'd already recycled 30+ for nothing but still had another 20 waiting for the next run... I'm kinda annoyed that I didn't think of using the crappy DFE laptops to use for trade ins before this moment. Anyway heads up to anyone else who had this blind spot... BTW HP are offering £150 cashback on their hero laptops like the always nice HP ProBook 440 or 445 G10

why do the monitor and projector share a VGA? can the monitor at least not be run from hdmi or DP? The VGA splitter will only allow EDID to one device. (so you may have to switch outputs.)

Teacher let a pupil use their laptop....(urgh) not in credential manger, cleared the passwords in edge settings, I ended up deleting all browsing data for all time (all boxes checked) with the "clear all synced devices"... Go to office and it offers the wrong credentials and logs in! FFS.. I can only think to remove the cached windows profile next (which is drastic, I have to backup desktop stuff)... If this turns out to be an edge sync issue, it'll return. Did I miss anything?!

yes, yes, YES. A bad value card but I want an upgrade... Well I had an RTX 3050 8GB so a nice upgrade but the 12100f is holding back the PC so hard the new card makes almost no difference.. Was thinking of going Ryzen 5600 or 7600, so £220 vs £400 (both new) second hand 5600 cpu and mobo combos (or separate) on ebay save almost no money.

Yes, I thought this as some AD changes were made but checking the user OUs were untouched.. I have just reconfigured and selected them again just in case... I did also try a full import earlier as well.. no errors, no sign of the user?!?!
