Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters (Loan) Despite seemingly wrapping everything up in a 2021 film, Hallmark were obviously hoping there was still a market for more of the POSTables. This sees them trying to deliver 3 letters lost during a (fake) postbox bomb incident but mainly is about the 4 leads (+ a newbie as they're all in their 50s now). While the original episodes generally had some quite moving plots and a mystery about the "lost" letters, the movies are increasingly about the two lead couples and also increasingly cheesy. One for the fans only. Find Me Falling (Netflix) This month's Netflix romcom with gorgeous scenery is set in Cyprus, where washed-up rock star John Allman (Harry Connick Jr, who also wrote the character's songs) has come to lick his wounds. However his lost love, the subject of his big hit, still lives on the island... Surprisingly decent, with some nice humour. Worth a look if the trailer sparks your interest.

We don't even get rid of the kids (and teachers!) until Wednesday .

Coming to Peacock (presumably the UK variant too) in August, John Woo's remake of his 1989 classic. NSFW: Both trailers very violent with lots of gunplay and the HK original has lots of blood (and is in Chinese). Loved John Woo's "heroic bloodshed" period but his Hollywood output was hit and miss. Didn't watch his "Return to Hollywood" movie, "Silent Night" as it looked bad; this looks vaguely promising.

The Family Plan (Apple TV+) Dan is a devoted father and loving husband and... just a little bit dull. One day his family find their lives upended when Dan's past returns to put all of them in danger. Entertaining action comedy, but fairly forgettable. Space Cadet (Prime Video) Rex always dreamed of being an astronaut, but life happened. When she decides to apply for NASA her friend feels that her CV needs... punching up and makes a few changes that land Rex a place in the program (@witch may have some competition). Will Rex make it into space, or will she be caught out? Fun comedy, but totally predictable.

Thank you for your insightful input on this. From your post, I see that the best solution is to check the configuration file for network solutions or there may be hiccups. I have found that a good way to fix hiccups is to take some Andrews.

AFAICT it's dead and doesn't do 4k . I did have a year's sub to one of the paid players, but their support could never get it to play.

Blu-ray playback on PCs seems to be a minefield! I got a UHD capable drive that I've never got to play a 4k movie (a common problem apparently). Glad I didn't pay too much for it! Will have to wait until I can warrant getting a PS5. It's no wonder people turn to "alternative methods".

I still have my HTPC under the TV. I never did the TV/recording stuff, but used Rainmeter to present a nice interface for the various streaming apps and Plex. Since getting a Smart TV it's only used for Plex as there's no point in turning it on when the TV can handle the streaming stuff. Still sees regular use, though.

Were they trying to squeeze in water-related language? Also, I can see an easy saving for them but can't go into it here.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (Netflix) Alex Foley heads back to Beverley Hills when his estranged daughter is embroiled in a case involving a drugs cartel. Most of the cast show up along with most of the music (often in cover versions) for this sequel. It's OK, but I wasn't left feeling like I wanted another sequel.

Two of mine use Tucasi School Cash Office with the children choosing their lunch as part of registration. Not sure about MIS integration. The other uses SchoolGrid, but this is via the caterers. Dinner choice and payment is online; not sure abour MIS integration. If it wasn't for the way the caterers provide pretty shoddy hardware, I'd probably have very little to do with SchoolGrid. SCO requires regular updates.

Allegedly showrunner Steve Blackman was not easy to work for/with which hastened the end. To be fair, even as a fan, every season being about the world ending was getting a bit OTT.

If you believe the (denied) stories, Terry Gilliam was so appalled that he stormed off the set. Even if true, I can imagine that he's a grumpy old man. Still, the way it's taken this long for a trailer is odd.

There seems to be a lot of choice in systems, and picking the wrong one could lead to difficulties with integration at a later date. Many people here seem keen on Matter - any thoughts? Or is it worth holding on for the forthcoming Dark Matter?
