Hijack Apple TV+ Idris Elba plays a corporate negotiator stuck on a hijacked plane. Well worth a watch. A bit far-fetched at times, but it doesn't suffer from "mid-season sag" and keeps the tension high. The "real time" aspect is a bit underused; I'd forgotten it was supposed to be real time until rewatching the trailer. Possibly the best plane-based show since the first season of "Into the Night".

I read the book of the other when it came out, so that movie was already spoiled! Especially as the book was way better, IMHO.

From the synopsis I'm gonna go with one from 1987.

Under Paris (Netflix) AKA Sous La Seine Three years ago, marine biologist Sophia lost her husband and most of her team to an attack by a shark that had grown way faster than it should have. Now, just as the Seine is to be used for the Olympic Triatholon, an activist group has traced the shark's location... it's in the Seine. Dumb but fun. Be warned that the film ends an act or two earlier than you'd expect, though the end credits graphics suggest that there is a plan for a sequel that will be a bit more global if it comes to pass. I can't believe no-one thought to use "Sharks in the Seine" as the English title.

Is this Netflix's answer to "Ghosted"?

Just finished Monarch: Legacy of Monsters on Apple TV+. I did quite like it, but it was kinda slow and being (mainly) a prequel to the Monsterverse I can't help but feel that the subtitle is incorrect. Wasn't keen on the multiple time zones, which must surely be hard work for the writers to keep everything in track. As it is, there's a new reveal about the Under-world that the movies have yet to mention. If you have Apple and have been wondering about it, possibly worth a look. Not worth forking over a sub for, though.

I see what you mean - non-BT soundbars are like hen's teeth. I'm sure that when I was researching a few months ago quite a few reviews marked down if there was no BT, but I can't spot anything decent atm (especially USB). That said, you normally have to switch to BT so if you're worried about students randomly connecting their phones it's probably not a problem. If you don't mind an adapter, you could add to the available options with a USB to audio cable. I'd look at the "home theatre" end as these will likely be wall mountable and have "voice enhancement" features. Unfortunately the one we went for has now gone over your budget, but the vocals on the Polk Signa S4 are great - my wife has some hearing loss in certain ranges and I no longer have to keep turning the volume up for her to hear the dialogue!

Think that should be Farsi (sometimes Parsi). Bit of a moot point as neither show up with voices on Google (nor does Urdu). It's the same on DuoLingo which our kids sometimes use. Phone Link is very limited. At one stage you could do more with Samsung and some other "big brand" models, but they don't seem to be advertising those features any more. Plus, while I use it a lot, its stability leaves a lot to be desired.

Do the students use a lot of them? IME most don't know what the shift key is for. As it's a user policy it can be set to only affect the students.

I'm guessing the answer is "no", but can AutoHotkey or similar overwrite the mapping? If so, possibly map it to a script that locks the machine and displays a "Skiving Detected!" screen. Otherwise, does this GPO work?

I thought that the adaptation of Patrick Lee's "The Breach" had escaped from Development Hell without me noticing. It's been in there for over a decade.
