Forgot to mention Impero could handle this... It allows a remote login/log off OR you could just block the student (will lock his screen) and remove the block as needed.

Create ad group. Create group in impero that uses the ad group membership, that allows mine craft. Scheduled task to add/remove people from the ad group, so they can't run it when removed, times of the schedule to prevent them from playing all day...

As for deploying already encrypted... Won't work as far as I know. We have bitlocker set to encrypt in the background after deployment... Might be a few days before all is encrypted, but all seemless and nothing on your end to do...

Somehow the PC thought the deployment was interrupted. Offering to resume or restart. In MDT if you can check the step its currently at.

I'm actually sad to hear this going through. This will lead to problems.. Look at the focal app drama.

Thanks everyone. Its either SDI or NAC... Don't remember, but think its SDI. I have my work cut out for me.

Back when I was in school, I remember something about a feature in server 2008 r2 that allowed you to only allow certain devices to access the network. Meaning if I took a random PC and plugged it into a active jack, it wouldn't allow it to access any network services/devices. Does anyone remember what this is called so I can do more research? Or is there any alternatives you would recommend? Also looking for a way to prevent known PCs from being able to access the network in the event a student wipes them and reinstalls a blank OS without our restrictions.

In GPO Computer settings. Preferences. Files. Delete. Provide path to link in the public desktop.

Forget the VBS... Task scheduler has a option to display a message direct! Win7 though, don't think XP has this.

GPP... Set a delete command of the icon in the appdata folder.

Icon can be easily removed with GPP. Set a delete file operation, it is what we do wirh impero. Startup is harder, but see if it makes a run regedit that can be removed with... GPP
