I am looking for a way to schedule logon times... meaning during week 1 I want to allow people to logon from 8-9 and during week 2 only logon from 2-3. You can also - link with Google account. After 5 unlock attempt you enter in Google password and reset the pin. Set your own pin, can't change it without knowing the current one. Install the unlock app - after every boot, it will just unlock the device no pin required. Install custom recovery that allows you to mount system, then use adb to delete the pin file. Or, obviously, you can just factory reset any device. Few buttons, it wipes userdata...

If you have root, push a toggle to /system, problem solved. GPS was the same thing.

You can set a policy to disable the pin code via a MDM solution. If you are willing to root them you can go even further.

EFS will do it since you have to spoof kerberous login or something like it. GPO to prevent EFS solved it for me.
