We're using teams with Salamander and SDS, but we don't have the issue. We are only hiding a couple of groups so I am going to hide them all, maybe that is causing the issue.

That's odd as despite our frustration with whitelisting (unable to whitelist a specific PowerShell script without allowing PowerShell for the world) it works quite well for us, but as you say SRP may be the better option in this case.

Have you checked your other rules for Staff? In AppLocker a Deny takes precedence over an allow.

Same here, we're using NTP and all synced up across the board, just the login screens that vary.

Hi, Did you have any luck with this? We have a UX60 which keeps turning itself off, no overheating messages etc. and we've changed the bulb, it lasted longer on a bulb change (over 40 mins so we thought we have solved it), but 3 days later we are back to a 5 minute cut off.

You can tunnel the traffic back to the MX and hen just present the VLANs to the MX, if memory servers this actually have more functionality. We've moved to Meraki but still have the mx-200r and 50 APs in a store somewhere, happy to assist if you want to PM, but it was a year or two ago when we replaced it.

Our salamander install just syncs the change from the MIS automatically - school initials (which is our usernames) would stay the same (unless the user requests that change), but display name etc gets automatically updated.

We have less users, but large BYOD usage and have just moved to 500/500 (soon to be 500/1000), we had 100/100 before and were maxing out the connection at times.

We've got a Cesornet WebEx on Thursday, saw both at BETT but Censornet *seemed* to be more capable, but that may be down to the people doing the demos.

We had our install just before Christmas and it all went well, very happy with how Salamander work to fit in with our specific requirements, highly recommended.

I've used it a few times as we had some issues with Skype deployment and they're pretty quick to come back. You just have to remember that your licensing is per admin, so we just bought one license of each product and only I use it.

Enterprise version, still pretty cheap for what it does, musch better having both products working together. Eg inventory gets current installed Java version, deploy auto pushes out the latest version to those on older.

I use it alongside inventory and it works very well.

When I did it at my wife's school the proxy carried on running (and still does), so we just slowly turned off the proxy settings, I think the only thing you need the proxy for is when you want to use the staff.login - otherwise nothing broke and all a lot simpler going forward.

Have you thought about getting SWGfL to enable the 'transparent proxy' this negates the need to enter the proxy information (in 99% of apps), so if that is the issue with drive this should resolve it as drive will no longer need to know about the proxy. The 100 free devices are fully functional, you just need to start paying if you go over 100 (at least that's how it is right now). We use it for school owned (mobile/tablet/laptop) devices.

Hi, I only have one physical server (which isn't a Hyper V Host) left, I was using DPM but have switched over to Veeam Endpoint, it's working well and hasn't failed once. It backs up to the Veeam repository and then is also sent to another repository (backup copy job) daily and then to tape once a week all alongside the VM backups. James
